Add a clean, floating camera preview to screen recordings, tutorials, demos, lessons, and presentations. FloatCam is a lightweight floating camera preview designed for macOS screen recording. Open FloatCam before starting the built-in macOS screen recorder, place the camera window anywhere on your screen, and add a natural face-camera presence to tutorials, product demos, lessons, walkthroughs, presentations, and social videos. FloatCam focuses on one job: keeping a clean, customizable webcam preview above your desktop. It does not replace your screen recorder, and it does not record, store, or upload video. Use it alongside macOS screen recording, QuickTime Player, or other screen-capture workflows. Key features: • Floating webcam preview for screen recordings • Always-on-top window across Spaces and full-screen apps • Adjustable preview size • Adjustable corner radius, from square to circular • Mirrored camera preview for a natural front-camera experience • Transparent, borderless preview window • Drag-and-drop positioning anywhere on screen • Automatic camera permission guidance • Locally saved preview settings Simple, focused, and out of your way, FloatCam helps you add a human presence to screen recordings without the complexity of a full video production setup.
