Open jobs • Leave a job unassigned and your crew can pick it up themselves. Switch it on per person with the new "Take open jobs" permission on their user page. • Open jobs show on My Schedule (dated ones on the calendar, undated ones in a list above it) and under Jobs → Open jobs. • Anyone with the permission can open an open job and add photos, notes, materials and forms right away. Tap Take this job to run the timer. • Stopping the timer hands the job back. Your hours stay on the job. More than one person can take the same job at the same time. • The office gets a notification when someone takes a job, and the job page shows who's working on it. Quotes • Mark a sent quote as Declined, archive declined or expired quotes, and Resend to reopen one. • Voided invoices and converted or archived quotes are hidden from the lists by default, with a toggle to show them. Also in this update • Your permissions refresh when you bring the app back to the foreground. • Taking a job and the job timer fail clearly when you're offline instead of appearing to work. • General fixes.

Deposits and progress payments: ask for an amount up front (or a % of the quote), then the final invoice takes it off automatically – every dollar on exactly one tax invoice, GST to the cent. Payments can be held for a job, and credit can be applied as you send an invoice so the PDF shows the balance due. Xero: invoice GST now matches to the cent. Plus: deposit amounts editable on the draft, better error messages, and small fixes.

Booking links: send a customer a single-use link to pick their own time, then approve it or let it confirm automatically. Customer texts and emails: booked, moved, a day-before reminder, and a one-tap "On the way" text with an ETA. Sign in to the right business when your email is used in more than one. Fixes: daylight-saving times on 27 September, offline sync, booking capacity counts, text billing, and safe-area layout on the newest phones.
