This update adds notes to your recordings. • Notes: Attach PDF, PPT, or PPTX slides to a recording, then write on them with Apple Pencil or your finger, or type, on iPhone and iPad. Tap anything you wrote while recording to listen from that moment, and search text and handwriting together. On Mac, write on your notes with a mouse, trackpad, or drawing tablet using pen, pencil, highlighter, eraser, and lasso tools, and hand-drawn shapes are cleaned up automatically. Add and format text boxes, point things out with the laser pointer, and zoom in. Click the time beside your handwriting to jump to that point in the recording. • Study mode: Turn a recording and its notes into multiple-choice questions and flashcards for review. • Continue recording: Add to an existing recording, then trim each new part separately or restore it to the original. • Import: On iPhone and iPad, share a PDF, PPT, or PPTX from another app to bring it straight into a recording’s notes. This update lets you organize recordings into folders. All, Shared, and Apple Watch groups are built in, and you can create your own folders with a name and icon. Recordings you start while viewing a folder are saved there. New recordings now open straight into the recording screen, where you can edit the title while recording. On iPhone, record with the large button at the bottom and swipe back to the folder list. Waveforms for long recordings also appear much faster. Also includes bug fixes and performance improvements.

With this update, summaries and AI title suggestions work while a transcription is running when you use Private Cloud Compute, an internal server, or Apple Intelligence. This update adds Smart Playback and a redesigned Export. Smart Playback skips long silences (applause skipping is in beta), shows skipped parts on the waveform, and lets you tap to jump anywhere. Fixed an issue where a summary could be saved with no content. Transcription, summarization, and noise removal now run one at a time, and the app lets you know when another task is in progress.

Recording sharing is here! • Share recordings: Press and hold in the recording detail or list to send recording files directly via AirDrop, Messages, Mail, and more. The recording title is kept in the file name. • Receive recordings: When sharing audio from Voice Memos, the Files app, and others, choose "Copy to Nogmi" to add the recording to Nogmi with its title intact, synced to all your devices via iCloud. • Open received recordings instantly: The detail screen of a recording brought in via sharing opens automatically, so you can start transcribing and summarizing right away. • Stability improvements: Fixed an issue where a blank screen remained after deleting a recording from the detail screen.
