Reliability. • Fixed a rare case where the alarm could stay silent even though you had reached your stop. It was most likely on faster journeys with the app in your pocket. GPS Alarm now checks every location reading iPhone gives it, instead of only the most recent one.

Reliability, and a crash we are sorry about. • Fixed a crash on opening the app. If a trip was still running when iPhone closed the app in the background, reopening it could fail immediately. This is the most important fix here. • Fixed background monitoring of saved places for anyone upgrading. The alert-on-arrive-and-leave fix from the last update only reached newly saved places; existing ones kept the old behaviour and could go quiet after firing once. They now repair themselves. • Arrival, departure and snooze alerts now come through a Focus, including Sleep, and are no longer held back for a notification summary. • Fixed a false "you have left" alarm that could go off just after starting a trip. • The loud alarm now takes over whenever a notification cannot make a sound — Deliver Quietly and scheduled summaries included, not just notifications being switched off. • Prices now appear in your language on the membership screen instead of English. • A purchase that fails now says so, and tells you what to do if you were charged. • Settings now reports whether iCloud sync is really running, rather than always saying it is on. • Larger text: the wake-up screen no longer cuts off the name of your stop. • Siri and Shortcuts now find saved stops whose names contain accents. • Fixed exporting history when a stop name contained a line break.

Reliability first — the alarm now sounds when it should, and never when it shouldn't. • Fixed: if you chose the Lock Screen alert and notifications were turned off, nothing played at all. The loud alarm now takes over instead. • Fixed: background monitoring of your saved places. Arrival alerts fired only once per place, and leaving alerts often never fired at all. • Fixed: editing a saved stop now moves its background alert to the new place and wake-up zone. • Fixed: snoozing a "time to leave" alert no longer wakes you later with an arrival alarm. • Fixed: a stale location could set the alarm off the moment a trip started. • Fixed: leaving alerts now work when you start a trip straight after opening the app. • Fixed: "Start trip" silently did nothing when location access was off. Easier to read, and easier to hear: • The wake-up screen has much stronger contrast, and its buttons no longer clip at large text sizes. • Reduce Motion is respected, and VoiceOver now reads the distance and the selected options correctly. • Payment and membership messages are translated in every language, and no longer say auto-renew is off when we simply couldn't check.

Reliability update — the alarm is harder to miss. • The alarm now recovers if a phone call, unplugged headphones, or an audio reset interrupts it. Before, it could fall silent while still showing as ringing. • GPS Alarm now notices when Precise Location is off and asks to turn it on for the trip. A wake-up zone can be as little as a couple of city blocks across, while iOS without Precise Location places you only to within a few miles — so the alarm might never fire. • A stale or low-accuracy location fix can no longer start a trip, and a trip left over from days ago no longer comes back to life. • Monitoring of your wake-up zone now restarts more reliably in the background. • Ad fixes: the ad banner reloads correctly when you switch away and come back, and the "Watch a short video for 1 more stop" button now behaves correctly if you skip the video. • Lock Screen, Dynamic Island and subscription screens are now translated in all 34 languages.

• Fixed: on "Choose your stop", the settings card could cover the lower half of the wake-up zone circle — so the zone you were setting was partly hidden. It now always sits fully in view, and the map zooms out on its own if you pick a zone too large to fit. • Fixed: the ad banner could disappear a few seconds after appearing and leave the space empty. • Fixed: the "watch a video for one more stop" button stopped responding if you skipped the video. It works every time now. • The arrival alarm is still completely free, and Pro still removes every ad.
