more LogMus has been updated, with a focus on a new tutorial and How to Guide.
New: Video Tutorial
- The first-launch tutorial has been redesigned. Short videos walk you through 3-tap logging, carrying over your last session, widgets, and iCloud sync
- On the last step, choose your weight unit (kg / lbs) and weekly goal. You can change both anytime in Settings
New: How to Guide
- A new How to Guide covers LogMus in 6 chapters and 23 pages — from logging basics to assisted and drop sets, adding exercises, the rest timer, reviewing your progress, and backing up your data, with videos along the way
- Open it anytime from "How to Guide" in Settings, or right from the end of the tutorial
New: In-Context Tips
- The first time you open Calendar or Analytics, a one-time tip shows you how it works with a short video
- The first time you open a day's details, a tip lets you know you can log location, time of day, and session type
- No tips ever appear on the set log screen, so they never get in the way of logging
Improvements
- You can now choose up to 999 reps (999.5 with half-rep increments), on both iPhone and Apple Watch
- The feedback form now includes iPhone 18 Pro / 18 Pro Max / 17e and Apple Watch Series 12 / Ultra 4
- The feedback form now picks your device automatically on iPhone 17 series and later

1.8.0 5d ago
LogMus has been updated, with a focus on a new exercise guide feature.
New: Exercise Guides
- You can now check how to perform an exercise right where you log it. Tap the "How To" pill next to the exercise name on the set log screen to open a sheet showing start/end pose illustrations, steps, points, and common mistakes
- Available for 73 of the 79 preset exercises (everything except cardio)
- Exercises with a guide show a small marker next to their name on the exercise picker
- The guide is view-only, so your current set number, weight, and reps stay exactly as you left them
Improvement: Copy button on the previous performance bar
- Expand the "last time" bar on the set log screen and each set now shows a small button next to its weight × reps. Tap it to copy that set's weight and reps straight into your current input
Fixes
- Fixed exported files occasionally recording the wrong exercise name when an export ran during an iCloud sync
- Fixed importing such a file creating duplicate exercises instead of recognizing them as the same one
- Fixed the personal record (PR) badge at the top of the set log screen not updating correctly after editing a past set
Thanks for using LogMus! We're always working to make your training log better.
v1.7.0 Sep 13
LogMus has been updated, with a focus on a new previous performance carryover feature.
New: Previous Performance Carryover
- The set log screen now shows a bar with what you logged last session. It highlights the set that matches the one you're currently entering
- Tap the bar to expand the full breakdown of every set, including assisted and drop set tags
- The cardio log screen now shows your previous distance, duration, and calories too
- The "last time" label on the exercise picker now also shows the set count (e.g., "×3 sets")
Improvements
- Fixed the weight field showing 0kg on Apple Watch for exercises you've never logged before — it now pre-fills with the same defaults as iPhone (20kg / 45lbs, 10 reps)
Thanks for using LogMus! We're always working to make your training log better.
1.6.0 Aug 31
LogMus has been updated, with a focus on a new data import feature and improvements to iCloud sync.
New: Data Import
- Restore your records by importing a CSV or JSON file you exported earlier. Find it under "Import Data" in Settings
- A confirmation screen shows how many records will be added, the date range, and any exercises that will be created — before anything is imported
- Records you already have are skipped automatically, so importing the same file twice never creates duplicates
- Nothing in your existing log is ever deleted
New: iCloud Sync Warnings
- LogMus now detects when your records aren't making it to iCloud and shows a warning in Settings
- Previously there was no way to notice this. Since deleting the app in that state would lose your records, the warning tells you before that can happen
Improvements
- Exported files now include more detail — a record identifier, the exercise's internal name, and the exact time — so imports can restore your log accurately
- Added "Send all records to iPhone" to Apple Watch settings, letting you push everything stored on your Watch back to your iPhone
Fixes
- Fixed an issue where some exercises (such as Dumbbell Shoulder Press) could disappear from the exercise picker
- Fixed total volume not matching the body-part breakdown in Analytics when a record's exercise couldn't be identified
- Fixed an unresponsive button in Weight Trend when only one exercise was selected
- Made the year label on the Calendar screen larger
Thanks for using LogMus! We're always working to make your training log better.
v1.5.0 Aug 11
LogMus has been updated, with a focus on two new features: weekly streaks and multi-exercise weight comparison.
New: Weekly Streaks
- Streaks now count by week instead of consecutive days. Set your own weekly training goal
- This week's progress shows as a segmented bar, so you can see completed days at a glance
- Tap the pill on the Home screen to open a detail view with your current streak, best streak, and milestones
- Milestones are fully customizable — add or remove them freely, and get a gentle celebration with haptics the moment you hit one
- Your weekly goal and whether cardio counts as an active day can both be changed in Settings
New: Multi-Exercise Weight Comparison
- The Weight Trend screen in Analytics now lets you compare up to 3 exercises at once
- Opens by default to the Big Three (Bench Press, Squat, Deadlift) combined — your total. Tap "Reset to Big Three" anytime to return to this
- Switch between "Total" and "Individual" views. Individual mode distinguishes each exercise by both color and line style
- Even if your exercises were logged on different days, the total line carries forward your most recent numbers so it stays continuous
- See your all-time total PR marked with a star, plus a note when an exercise hasn't been logged in 90+ days
Fixes
- Fixed a timing issue where iCloud sync could occasionally erase notes or revert settings
- Fixed some exercises not appearing in the exercise picker
- Fixed "Set as default" in the rest timer not actually applying on iPhone
- Fixed weight unit and rep increment not syncing from iPhone to Apple Watch
- Fixed the Calendar screen starting lower on the page than Home
- Apple Watch now pre-fills weight and reps from your last session for any exercise you've logged before
Thanks for using LogMus! We're always working to make your training log better.
1.4.0 Aug 10
LogMus has been updated, with a focus on a new rest timer feature.
WHAT'S NEW
• Added a rest timer — logging a set now automatically starts a countdown, shown in a pill at the bottom of the screen so you can check the time remaining at a glance
• Now works from the Lock Screen and Dynamic Island too, so you can check the remaining time or tap "+15s" / "Stop" without opening the app
• Tap the pill to open a detail view, where you can fine-tune the time by ±15 seconds or switch to a 60s/90s/120s/180s preset
• Turn the completion sound and Lock Screen display on or off individually from Settings
