Turn any photo into a palette: the new Palette from Photo tool in the Palette Builder pulls five color stops from a picture you choose — a sunset, a painting, a plant — shapes them for the living field, and lets you fine-tune and save. Meet Today's Aurora in Scenes: a fresh signature look every day, the same all day and new at midnight. Also fixed: Palette Builder and My Moments no longer close unexpectedly from Settings, and Composition Lab labels no longer truncate.

Version 2.1 adds Composition Lab, a pro control room for intentional Aurora looks. It scores the current setup, explains strengths and tuning ideas, and applies one-tap recipes for field green, photo punch, desk focus, night glow, and stage loop compositions.

This update sharpens the interface: the iPad layout now uses a centered, comfortable reading width instead of stretching edge to edge, so every screen reads as a clean column. iPhone is unchanged; still fully on-device.

Aurora Live 2.0 — a pro upgrade for your living-light canvas, still 100% offline. • Breath Sync: the light paces to a guided breathing pattern (4-7-8, Box, Coherent 5.5, Gentle) with an on-screen guide ring. • Sleep Timer: a smooth fade-to-black after 5–60 minutes, then it idles. • Surprise Me: a tasteful, random new look in one tap. • Scenes: six curated one-tap moods — Deep Calm, Nightlight, Focus, Energetic, Dreamy, Minimal. • Warmth grade: a cool ↔ warm color-temperature slider. • Palette Cycle: a slow cross-fade through your palettes. Aurora 1.1 — What's New Ambient Slideshow — Let Aurora cycle through your saved Moments automatically while in Ambient Display. Pick an interval of 30 seconds, 1 minute, or 5 minutes and Aurora quietly transitions from one look to the next without you touching anything. Requires at least 2 saved Moments. Configure in Settings → Ambient Display → Slideshow. Wander Mode — A new optional behavior that gently drifts intensity and speed over time using two slow, independent LFOs. The field subtly brightens and darkens, quickens and slows on its own rhythm — keeping long sessions interesting without any input. Toggle it in the control drawer or in Settings → Interaction → Wander.

Aurora 1.1 — What's New Moments — Save any look you love with one tap. A bookmark button on the canvas captures your current palette, intensity, speed, and calm setting as a named Moment with a thumbnail preview. Browse, restore, rename, reorder, and delete your Moments from the Settings screen. Up to 30 Moments stored on-device. Ambient Display — Turn Aurora into a living desk light or nightstand accent. Tap the moon icon to enter a full-screen mode that dims the screen to a soft, adjustable glow, keeps it awake, and hides all chrome. An optional minimal clock shows in the corner. Tap anywhere to exit. Custom Palette Builder — Design your own color gradient. The new Palette Builder (Settings → Palette) gives you hue, saturation, and brightness sliders for each of five color stops. The live gradient updates as you drag. Save up to eight custom palettes, name them, and switch between them alongside the six built-in palettes.
