I really appreciate that this exists given the app store is generally riddled with low quality drawing apps that are filled with ads, use a preposterously expensive subscription model, or use a predatory cognitive design that is bad for children’s developing minds. This app has none of that and works well. I did notice one bug on my device- black color selection actually draws white and white actually draws black. An assisted mode in the coloring sections that helps kids color inside the lines would also be a nice addition for younger kids- though then again maybe not for the development of hand eye coordination. Anyway- great drawing app for little ones
Developer Response
Thank you so much for this thoughtful review — it truly made our day. You described exactly what we set out to build: a calm, ad-free, subscription-free space that respects little ones and their parents. And great catch on the black/white bug — you were absolutely right. It's now fixed and rolling out in the next update, so colors draw true in both light and dark mode.On coloring inside the lines: we just added a guided "Color by Number" mode that does exactly that for younger kids, while free drawing stays fully open for building hand–eye coordination — so you can pick whichever fits the moment.Thank you again for taking the time to write this. Happy drawing! 🎨
Bug fix: colors now draw true in both light and dark mode. Plus small improvements.
