Very much enjoying the game (already have over 20 hours lol)! Your team has been pushing out updates frequently which keeps the game feeling fresh!I have one request if possible: You pick a character at the very beginning of the game. I enjoy customizing my character and it’d be nice if there could be an option added to switch between the characters? :)Keep up the awesome work!

I was enjoying this game as I really like Butcher Hero. Main difference is how much is locked behind paywalls. Certain areas on the maps require a subscription. Quests require a battle pass. Using the fast travel system requires a subscription. I understand the need to be profitable, but also understand the behavioral psychology behind these mobile games to keep people coming back and paying by giving dopamine hits and setting up frustrating situations solved by micro-transactions. The game is well enough designed and fun. I would certainly buy a game of this quality play, but I’m not going to subscribe AND pay for monthly or quarterly battle passes on top of having adds and micro-transactions to purchase upgrades and gems. I would steer people towards Butcher Hero. Still has pay to win, but there aren’t as many features hidden behind a paywall. Deleting this app off my phone now.

The last update did the complete opposite of what I feel it was intended to do. Firstly, now all bosses drop one of two different weapons increasing how long players have to grind to increase their weapon rarity. The rarity of boss drops have also went down across the board and for whatever reason now only the first boss drops slashing weapons making that type the hardest to upgrade. The pet system is a complete waste of time, buy 10 for 500 gems with a 0% chance of pulling an uncommon pet unless you already have pulled enough to increase the boxes rarity except it doesn’t tell you how much you have to pull in order to do so. Meanwhile you can just spend the same amount of gems and outright double your combat power buying stat increases directly.

Update: okay. Starts to feel more and more different. I’m getting into it. Up to four stars, not a clone or reskin. Feels very samey but in a good way, with some new bits to it. Worth a try if you liked Devour, or RPG Hero? Will come back later after I see how annoying the ads and pushy sales BS gets!To devs: I’d change up the first One a bit more so it’s less like Devour. Original review:This is a direct reskin of another game I played. Same map. Same growth sequence. It’s a fun game. I played that one a lot. I paid for that one. They even say “go to the fountain” which the other game had but this one has a campfire there. The art is better in this one, for me at least.I wish this had anything unique or interesting or new. Then I’d give it five stars and pay for it. I’ll honestly probably keep playing it cause I liked that other game so much. If it becomes full of forced ads I’ll come back and update/drop the review. If it becomes different and like they added something to it, I’ll come back and update the rating and add notes.
