• Apple Music's "connected" state now reads the same in Settings and in first-launch setup — it no longer shows connected in one place while asking you to connect through the Sonos app in the other • Fixed the Chinese text for the queue-reorder message, which used to fall back to English

• Voice recognition: if your device language isn't Chinese, English or Cantonese, the app now picks a suitable recognition channel automatically • Fewer pre-made scenes on a fresh install, for a cleaner home screen • Better internal diagnostics: with "Send diagnostics" on, we can pinpoint problems more accurately and faster

• New "Send diagnostics" switch (Settings → Storage & Data, on by default): when it's on, the app sends us crash and hang reports, the errors you see in the app, and moments when a tap didn't do anything, so we can find and fix problems faster. It never includes song, room or search content, or your account details. Turning it off stops collection right away and clears anything not yet sent

• Scenes you create with the assistant now show up in the app: say something like "play white noise in the bedroom at 11pm the day after tomorrow" in the in-app assistant, WeChat, Claude or ChatGPT, and the scene appears under Automations → Scenes — no duplicates, and scenes you delete in the app stay deleted • Timed scenes: the editor shows the same time the assistant confirmed, and saving again doesn't add a second schedule • Safer Home scene tile: until you've made a scene of your own, tapping it opens the scene list instead of running a template — no surprise playback or volume change. If you have your own scenes, it still runs your latest one in one tap • Lock Screen card and Dynamic Island: new mute button that follows the speaker in real time; artwork no longer flickers after pausing • When your TV turns on, ZoneFoundry takes over the Lock Screen card Sonos starts and keeps it updated; a card you swipe away won't pop back • New Home card to connect your music services: if your Sonos uses QQ Music or NetEase Music that isn't connected in ZoneFoundry yet, connect it in one tap and request songs by voice, WeChat or AI assistants • Setup: the Permissions page now includes Apple Music, and the Music Services page explains why connecting once matters • Fixes: the "scene started" message shows the scene name in your app language; Simple mode scene icons match the scene list; an unmatched favorite now just says nothing was played

• Redesigned AI access: Claude, ChatGPT, Super XiaoAi and Muse each get their own card showing whether they're connected and how often they've been used; tap one for that app's own setup steps • Super XiaoAi: generate a ready-to-paste link right in the card, then copy or share it to your Xiaomi phone — no more building the address by hand • Muse (Meta, US only for now): generate a key in the card and follow the prompt to add it in Muse • Adding a home bridge is clearer: we first ask whether you have an always-on NAS, and if not, explain what works without one. Synology and fnOS get the graphical install by default, and you can watch install progress live • Bridge cards now flag long-offline bridges, rooms not found this time, and speakers that aren't in the Sonos account you're signed in to (with one tap to switch Sonos system) • When the bridge is offline, the Apple Home pairing section now says so instead of asking you to update • After you switch to another Sonos system, the app moves to a room in that system instead of staying on a room from the old one • Right after an announcement plays, the player shows "Announcement" instead of a file name • If you repeat the same request within a short time, the result offers a one-tap way to report a problem • Sign in with GitHub: use your GitHub account on the sign-in screen, or link it under Account → Link GitHub so every method opens the same account • Easier bridge setup: when your phone is on your home Wi-Fi, the Bridges page finds a bridge that's waiting to be set up — confirm it and you're done, no setup code from the container log needed • Redesigned Account page: see at a glance which of Apple, Google, GitHub and email you can sign in with, and link the rest in one tap. Sonos now sits under Connected services, this device is marked in the device list, and devices you haven't used in a while can be removed in one go

• Faster voice: on-device recognition now gets ready as soon as you allow speech access or first tap the mic, so more commands are recognized right on your iPhone instead of waiting for the cloud • When the Assistant can't finish something, tap “Report a problem” — or use the ••• menu when it ran but got it wrong; what you said is filled in for you • Cancelling from the Assistant orb now really cancels, and a brief network drop no longer runs the same command twice • Combined requests like “play Taylor Swift and set the volume to 20”, and room names in Chinese or English, now work correctly on your local network • Lock Screen cards: adjust volume directly, artwork follows the song, and tapping a card opens that room; cards appear faster and groups show correctly • In a group, each room shows its own volume, and a room that joins a paused group no longer shows “Playing” • Favorites play continuously, and the Lock Screen card stays for 30 minutes after you pause • Songs from some music services no longer show blank titles in the queue • “Turn the volume down a little” no longer drops it to 1, and reminders and alarms follow your phone's time zone • Siri phrases in Chinese now work; if onboarding can't connect, it explains why and lets you retry • Rooms: no more “Cloud connection ready” when Sonos isn't connected, the play button is greyed out on TV input, and Speaker Input buttons are no longer cut off • When Sonos cloud is busy, the app slows its requests automatically so you see fewer “too many requests” errors

• Settings is reorganized: “AI & Chat” moves up, and duplicate or rarely used options are merged so things are easier to find • Rooms with a soundbar get a “Speaker Input” card: switch to TV or back to music in one tap — and if it can't switch, it tells you why • The Alarms page adds “Reminders & timers”: see and cancel reminders you set by voice, news plans and sleep timers — no bridge needed • Home tiles like News and Broadcast now open in place instead of jumping to the Assistant tab; News shows “Preparing…” while it gets ready • Deleting an alarm now asks for confirmation, and choosing a Sonos playlist to play after an alarm loads your playlists automatically • Ask Siri “What's playing on ZoneFoundry” and it now tells you the song • The Control Center scene button no longer gets swapped out when you run a different scene in the app • Follow Me: set the leave delay even if you only use the cloud; if HomeKit is allowed but you haven't set up a home yet, it points you to the Home app • The app now opens on the room that's playing, and grouping wording is consistent throughout • Three pairs of same-named Shortcuts actions are renamed so you can tell them apart • More screens are translated

• Connecting Claude or ChatGPT is simpler: when you connect on your computer, a 6-digit code appears — just enter it in Settings → AI access. The page is redesigned too, so you can see which AI apps are connected and disconnect any of them • Songs you start from WeChat or voice while the app is closed no longer wipe your queue when you open the app — they're added after the current song. To replace the whole queue instead, turn on “Replace queue by default” in Settings • When the assistant can't do something, it now tells you why instead of just flashing red • Fixed the app not recovering on its own after its sign-in expired — you no longer need to close and reopen it • Swipe actions in play history, favorites and playlists; on Now Playing, tap the song title to see the album or the artist to see their page • The Play History and Sonos Playlists rows on Home scroll smoothly without accidental taps, and the same song no longer shows up twice in play history • If a song is added to the queue but playback can't jump to it, you're told to tap to play instead of seeing “Now playing” • Renaming a room now works without the bridge • More of the app and its error messages are now translated

• More reliable Sonos sign-in: on networks where the sign-in page doesn't fully load, the app switches to a way that does; it shows progress while loading and, if it gets stuck, offers to continue in Safari • If your Sonos account isn't connected yet, Home now says clearly what connecting adds, with a big Connect Sonos button • Tapping Connect Sonos now responds right away with a haptic and a loading state instead of flickering • Right after you sign in, Settings no longer briefly says your speakers can't reach Sonos • Choosing a Sonos system now shows a check next to the one you're using • Buttons in Settings such as Disconnect Sonos account now respond on the first tap • Home theater rooms now show which speaker is front, surround or sub in room settings • First launch no longer asks for permissions up front — the mic prompt waits until you actually use voice • Alarms work without a bridge: your iPhone writes them straight to your speakers over your home Wi-Fi • If Local Network permission is off, Rooms now tells you plainly and gives you a button to turn it back on • Added an in-app way to report a problem • Picking a default room during setup no longer gets stuck • If your account has more than one Sonos system, the app now says so instead of quietly failing • When speech recognition is temporarily unavailable, you get a “type it instead” option rather than being told to retry • “See All” in Apple Music now really loads more, and Apple Music is the pre-selected default music service

The big one: ZoneFoundry now runs on iOS 18 (it used to need iOS 26). • The assistant understands a lot more ways of asking — news, alarms, reminders, scenes, grouping, sleep timers — in English, Mandarin and Cantonese. "Remind me at 8", "ungroup everything" and "skip to 1:30" all work now, without hunting for the exact wording • English commands finally get the room right: "play Adele in the kitchen" plays Adele in the kitchen, instead of searching for a song called "Adele in the kitchen" • Rename a room in the Sonos app and ZoneFoundry follows — no more old and new names side by side. Scenes, schedules and favorites move with it • Playback status refreshes over your local network first — faster, and less reliant on the cloud • Playback failures tell you why instead of just doing nothing • Pick a room straight from the Sonos Favorites menu • Speakers with no TV input (Roam SL and friends) no longer show a TV toggle • iPad sheet sizing fixed in 17 places • Coming back from the background no longer falsely reports a lost connection • The assistant no longer replies in Chinese when the app is in English • Fewer cloud requests, so you hit "temporarily unavailable" far less

This update fixes several playback display issues: • The Now Playing star and lyrics no longer flicker • Favorites shows every item instead of just a few • Volume reads correctly and no longer drops to zero • Search is no longer blocked by cloud quota limits • The lock screen play/pause button works again • Long-pressing a scene card no longer triggers it twice • Queue panel sizing fixed on iPad • Fixed Chinese text appearing in the English interface
