You grind for mergable gear, can accidentally merge gear you DO want, and then it’s an ad farm for other stuff, per the style at this time. Otherwise, game makes good use of Metal Slug assets for the type of game it is.

This was a game I was and still am very excited for, have put a lot of time in. It’s very reminiscent of the metal slug machines you’d find around but in a more manageable format for phone. It’s very easy to pickup but the game is becoming a money grab. They initially had a purchase to remove ads entirely and now it’s on a SUBSCRIPTION to remove ads? I do not understand. You could willingly pay for the diamonds and coins if you wanted but it really didn’t effect much. Energy would limit you and things were balanced where you didn’t need to spend money. Now every time you complete anything or want to refresh you have not 1 but 2 ads. The ads were optional before, now they’re in your face and wanting money to remove them when we already paid to do so! Will hold out hope they’ll change this but it’s very doubtful considering everything is a money grab now. Have fun with it while you can if you can stand being interrupted all the time and them keeping your money when they change your mind.

Stop releasing games if they are not ready to go. It's incredibly annoying. Just release it when people can play it.Finally played the game and it's meh. One thing that is dumb as all is it will just say survive the time limit. It's like okay what's the time limit I am supposed to survive. It does not tell you. Is this really something you overlook. I mean come on. Like the gold dungeon says that and even on the screen where you use your tickets it does not say how long you need to survive. If you are really that lazy that you don't include that or think it's good to include I have no faith any of the game will be good.

I love the Metal Slug theme, and I really like this game too. The characters, music, enemies, and all the various elements and actions in the game are so classic. Playing it always fills me with nostalgia and memories! I know the game is still in the update and optimization phase, and there are many features and contents that need further improvement, but my gaming experience so far has been fantastic!
