What's new in 1.10.1 • Pages fill the screen. In 1.10.0, page-by-page pages could stop well short of the bottom of the screen, leaving a band of blank space under the text. Now every page runs to its last line, on iPhone, iPad and Mac. • Hide the controls and the page fills the whole screen. Show them, start or stop Listen, rotate, or change the text size, and the page keeps its first line while lines come and go at the bottom. • The page footer stays at the bottom of the screen. After switching back to Fanficly, it could float about a keyboard's height up the page. • On the Mac, a page's last line no longer hides under the page footer. Everything still runs on your device — no ads, no tracking, no account required.

What's new in 1.10.0 • Read like a book — on iPhone Duo (and iPad in landscape or the Mac), page-by-page can show two pages side by side, turning two at a time, with the fold as the spine. Choose one or two pages and adjust the text width right from the Aa menu. • Made for iPhone Duo — Fanficly works on both screens: fold or unfold and you stay on the same paragraph. • Pages fill to the last line and never run off the bottom of the screen, even with the controls showing. • Search, rebuilt — Fanficly now searches AO3 for exactly what you type. As you type, tap suggestions straight from AO3's tag list (fandoms, ships, characters, tropes) to filter by the exact tag. "complete", "explicit", "under 10k" and friends still become filters, and everything else stays a word, so "teen wolf" finally means Teen Wolf. Plus a Filters button, recent searches, result counts, and a Cancel button for when AO3 is slow. • Sort your Library — by date saved, last read, last updated, title, author, or length. Pinned stories stay on top, and folders follow the same order. • Notifications take you there — tapping a new-chapter or new-work alert opens the story (or the author's page), even if the app was closed. Tapping the last-read widget opens your story even when another one is already open. • Keeps your place on any screen — rotating a big iPhone, resizing on iPad, or unfolding iPhone Duo keeps you on the same paragraph, and lines stay a comfortable length on wide screens. • More accurate reading position after a fast scroll. • The widgets now show the real Fanficly icon, in light, dark and tinted styles. • Rate Fanficly from Settings → About. Everything still runs on your device — no ads, no tracking, no account required.

What's new in 1.8.0 • Full VoiceOver accessibility pass — page turns, chapter jumps, and the reading controls are now VoiceOver actions, the Listen mini-player and every button are properly labeled, hiding the toolbar is no longer a trap, story metadata reads naturally ("Warning:", "Ship:", real counts instead of symbol names), searches and downloads announce their progress, and every Home Screen widget is fully accessible. • Share & Export fixed — picking a format from the "…" menu now reliably opens the share sheet with your exported file (it could silently fail before, always with VoiceOver running). • Tappable links — hyperlinks in story summaries, author notes, and comments now work, with the same privacy safeguards as the rest of the app. • Seamless iCloud sync — your library now merges from iCloud automatically when the app opens, so iPhone, iPad, and Mac stay in step without tapping Restore. Sync only ever moves forward: a stale backup can never rewind your reading position or un-star a story. • Offline stories after restore — when you restore your library on a new device, Fanficly now offers to re-download your offline stories, with a progress bar and the option to cancel anytime. • Small fixes — the character-spacing stepper no longer describes its steps as "0 pt". Everything still runs on your device — no ads, no tracking, no account required.

What's new in 1.7.0 • Show images in stories — a new opt-in reader setting renders authors' embedded artwork inline, in every reading mode. Off by default; the classic text-only reader is unchanged, and downloaded works stay text-only offline. • Fewer network timeouts — requests to AO3 are spaced out correctly and transient hiccups are retried, so search, browse, and story loading are far more reliable. • Finishing a story now counts — reading to the last line reaches 100%, earns the Finished badge, and shows up in your Stats. Reading time is no longer over-counted while a story sits open beneath other screens. • Safer iCloud sync — backups from different devices now merge instead of overwriting each other, restoring can no longer discard downloaded chapters, and reading-time totals stay consistent across devices. • Deleted reader profiles stay deleted — removing a typography profile no longer resurrects it through iCloud sync. • Widget fix — tapping the last-read widget can no longer rewind your saved reading position to an older spot. • Subscriptions & follows — all your AO3 subscriptions sync (not just the first page), a signed-out session can no longer clear them, author follows are checked reliably in background refresh, and notification permission is requested the moment you first follow a work or author. • Popular tab — ships and characters are now ranked from live AO3 data again. • Search fixes — typed tags no longer autocorrect to more popular lookalike tags, a crash on some international characters is fixed, and a temporary network error no longer sticks to a tag until relaunch. • Page-by-page fix — paragraphs can no longer get cut off with "…" when reading page-by-page with the controls hidden (most visible on Mac). Everything still runs on your device — no ads, no tracking, no account required.

Options menu.

Progress syncs across your devices via iCloud. • Native Mac app: Fanficly now runs on macOS (Mac Catalyst), with arrow-key page turns and ⌘ +/− interface zoom. • Reader profiles: Save your typography settings as named presets and switch between them instantly — remembered per device (phone, tablet, Mac) and synced via iCloud. • Character spacing & bold text: New letter-spacing and bold controls in the reader, from the Aa menu or Reader settings, applied across all three reading modes (continuous, swipe-by-chapter, and page-by-page) and synced across your devices via iCloud. • Custom folders: Group saved works into your own folders to organize your Library, kept in sync via iCloud. • Fresh look: New app icon and in-app branding in AO3 maroon. • Faster & smoother: Quicker work-description loading, snappier page-by-page mode in long stories, and the reader now pre-warms when you open a story so it opens without a hitch. • Stability & polish: Fixed a rare hang while saving your login session, corrected the keyboard focus outline, centered the sidebar title, fixed a list row separator alignment glitch, and condensed the story toolbar into a single options menu so the chapter and text controls are always visible.

• iCloud Library Sync: Backup and restore your library, bookmarks, subscriptions, and reading positions automatically via iCloud. • Safari Share Extension: Add AO3 links directly to your Fanficly library from your mobile browser using the system share sheet. • Starring & Pinning: Highlight your favorite works with stars, and pin important ones to the top of your library list. • Search Syntax Guide: Tap the new help icon in the search bar to access a complete guide on prompt search filters and syntax. • Reader Fixes: Refined page-by-page reader layout with precise paragraph splitting, scrollable metadata pages, and instant menu transitions. • Session Persistence: Automatically saves and restores your AO3 login session using the secure iOS Keychain, preventing unwanted logouts when the app restarts.
