Free · In‑App Purchases

Free and native on iPhone, iPad, Mac & Apple Watch, synced in real time. No ads, no algorithms, no AI summaries — just your feeds, calm and clutter-free. Read without the noise. SereneReader is a calm, native RSS reader for people who want to read — not manage notifications. No ads, no algorithms, no AI summaries you didn't ask for. Just your feeds, in a quiet interface built around the text. WORKS EVERYWHERE, IN SYNC Native apps for iPhone, iPad, Mac, and Apple Watch, plus the web at serenereader.com. Star an article on your phone and it's already starred on your Mac — reading state, feeds, and folders sync across every device in real time. CALM BY DESIGN The interface feels like a quiet room. Articles open in a clean reading view, and a focused mode strips everything away except the words. Adjust font size, line height, and content width to taste. Hand-tuned themes — including the easy-on-the-eyes Jade Night — make late-night reading comfortable. READS WELL OFFLINE Articles are cached on device. Read on the train, star and mark things as you go, and every change syncs when you're back online. YOUR READING, YOUR RULES Organize feeds into folders, search everything, and browse a curated Discover catalog to find new feeds when you want them. Import and export your subscriptions with OPML. Nothing is pushed on you: no streaks, no badges, no "we noticed you haven't opened the app." Full keyboard navigation on Mac and iPad; swipe actions on iPhone. FREE TO START Free to download and read. An optional Pro upgrade unlocks higher feed limits, every theme, and API access — no credit card to get started, no trial that quietly locks you out. Sign in takes seconds: a code by email, or your Google, GitHub, or Apple account. No passwords to remember. Terms of Use: https://serenereader.com/terms

Choose how your articles look, read one folder at a time, and a quieter app by default: - A new button at the top of your article list switches between three layouts: Comfortable, Compact, and Card. - Compact drops the preview text under each headline, so more articles fit on screen. - Card shows each article as a tile with its image, the feed's name, and how long ago it was published, fitting as many across as the screen has room for. - On iPad and Mac, Card view spreads across the whole window instead of sitting in a narrow column. - You can also pick a layout in Settings, under Appearance. - Tap the title at the top of your Inbox to switch between All and any folder you've made, so you can read just one group of feeds without leaving the tab. - On Mac, clicking a folder in the sidebar now shows only that folder's articles. The arrow beside it still opens and closes the folder. - Unread counts are now hidden by default. Turn them back on any time in Settings, under Appearance. - The filter button now appears filled whenever you're viewing something narrower than everything. - The list you're reading no longer switches back to your Inbox when the connection drops and reconnects.
