One case a day. Six clues, six guesses, one diagnosis. The first clue appears and you make a call. Get it wrong and the next clue opens. You work through the presentation the way you would work through a case, narrowing as the picture fills in, and try to name the diagnosis before you run out of guesses. Everyone playing gets the same case on the same day. HOW IT PLAYS Six clues, revealed one at a time. Six guesses, searched from a bank of more than 2,400 diagnoses. A new case every day at midnight, in your time zone. Your result, set against everyone else who played it. BUILD A STREAK Finish the daily and your streak grows, win or lose. Miss a day and it breaks, though you can watch a short ad to put it back. Subscribers earn streak freezes instead, one every three days of play, and a freeze covers a missed day on its own. Keep an eye on the run from your Home Screen or Lock Screen with a widget. PLAY WITH FRIENDS Add friends by link or QR code and compare your daily results on the friends leaderboard. Nudge the ones who have not played yet. WRITE YOUR OWN Build a case from scratch, six clues and an answer, then share it by link. Your friends play it and you see how they got on. THE ARCHIVE Every daily you missed is there to play, along with 100 cases written as premium exclusives that never ran as a daily. The library spans 29 specialties, from cardiology and neurology through to psychiatry and palliative medicine. WHO IT IS FOR Medical students revising, doctors keeping their pattern recognition sharp, and anyone who enjoys a hard puzzle with a real answer. Symptoms is a game built for clinical education. It is not a diagnostic tool, and it must never inform decisions about real patients. Every case is fictional. FREE, AD-FREE AND SYMPTOMS+ Symptoms is free to play. You get one case a day, and one short ad on the way to your results. Ad-free removes the ads. Symptoms+ adds the full archive, the 100 exclusive cases, as many cases a day as you want, streak freezes, and no ads. Both are available monthly or yearly. Prices are shown in the app before you buy and vary by country. Subscriptions renew automatically unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the period ends, and you can manage or cancel yours in your Apple ID settings. Buenos días. Symptoms now speaks Spanish. Cases are now available in Spanish, the clues and the write-up both, not just the diagnosis names. Every daily case from 13 September onwards is translated, and we are working back through the archive. The rest of the app is in Spanish too: the interface, reminders, widgets, Game Center achievements and voice play with Siri. Switch language any time in Settings. Plus a few small fixes and some housekeeping.
