Clubs get a proper page
• A club now opens on its page: photo, sport, members, upcoming meetups, athletes, and the wall as real feed cards.
• Chat stays one tap away, with its unread badge. Private groups still open straight into the conversation.
• Public clubs can be browsed before you join.
Events on the same foundation
• Cleaner page, participants on their own screen with a single search, leaderboard within reach.
• Inviting a club is now a full page.
Apple Watch
• New workout face: heart rate ring and zone, timer, distance and pace, speed, elevation gain, calories.
• Recap by pages: essentials, heart rate, power, splits, profile, running form, swim, laps, comments.
• Your week's list and any session sheet now load on the wrist, even without your phone.
• Chart toggle on live pages, reworked start screen, permissions asked at the right moment.
Fixes
• Garmin: a timer reading zero no longer wipes a session's duration.
• Triathlon disciplines now show in your language.
• The app is now dark everywhere. The Appearance setting is gone.

RUNNING DYNAMICS AT THE WRIST, NO CHEST STRAP
Vertical oscillation, ground contact time, stride length: the Apple Watch measures them on its own. The watch gives them their own page mid session, and the recap keeps them.
POWER ZONES AND FTP
Set your zones, see the session spread across them, and read measurements the recap used to store without ever showing you.
INDOOR RUNNING TAKES ITS PLACE
A real session name, pace that follows the sport family, and the treadmill recognised everywhere, Garmin included.
GARMIN CATCHES UP
Laps, running dynamics, zones and Training Effect now reach the app.
SWIMMING READS ACROSS THE WHOLE SESSION
Stroke split counted in metres, and the watch shows it on session totals instead of the last twenty lengths only.
A SESSION CARRIES A TRACK
Same as a post: you pick it, ten seconds play.
PHOTOS AND VIDEO
Clip covers that show up, carousels that keep your order, a clean full screen. Around fifteen fixes.
Live sessions got lighter too: measurements travel in batches, so battery and network breathe.
2.9.0 5d ago
What's new
• Rolling kilometer pace during live sessions, replacing instant pace. Rolling 100 m for swimming, cycling keeps current speed.
• Apple Watch: distance from HealthKit and elevation from the barometer, even when the session starts on iPhone. If the watch drops out, iPhone takes over seamlessly.
• Running: the iPhone pedometer fills GPS gaps in tunnels, dense forest and the first minute.
• Swim lengths and laps now sync live even with the phone in your pocket.
• Bug fixes and stability improvements.
2.8.9 Sep 7
A GPX becomes a route
A course sent to you or downloaded from a route-planning site now enters the app in two taps. It opens in the editor like everything else: trim it, extend it, rename it.
Checkpoints go in while you create
Aid stations, water points, timing points and the finish are placed during creation, at their own step, instead of on a screen that appeared once the route was already saved. Each one shows its kilometre and the length of the course as you drop it. Later, they are edited from the edit screen, next to the drawing.
Profiles that show what it costs
Passes and segment finishes now sit on the curve, larger, and named on tap. The graph is taller, the terrain is painted by gradient, and the "Climbing" card in Discover uses the same scale: a wall no longer looks like a false flat.
The drawing map, redone
A toolbar you read at a glance, every tool under its name. Points you have placed can be picked up again with a finger to create a detour, which had stopped working.
A route no longer depends on a session
Built from a recorded ride, it now keeps its own copy of the course: it can be redrawn, and deleting the session takes nothing away from it.
Also
An event's meeting point now comes before the course and says what it is. Pin labels finally show in full, and in front of everything else.
2.8.8 Sep 6
The 3D flyover is here.
• 3D flyover of your sessions: the map replays your route from above, with your photos along the way and your numbers ticking up.
• New story style, with the map as the background. Pick your style at a glance in the carousel.
• A screenshot of your session now offers the story, ready to share.
• Discover: events get their own row, and the ones you joined come first.
• Date of birth at sign-up: your heart-rate zones are right from the very first session, on the phone and on the watch.
• The group calendar now opens on the event you were looking at, not on an empty month.
2.8.5 Sep 3
Two separate sports, because they are not measured the same way: pool swimming and open water swimming.
• Every length in detail: its time, the stroke recognised (freestyle, backstroke, breaststroke, butterfly), arm strokes and SWOLF
• The split between strokes on a medley session
• Water temperature and maximum depth on Apple Watch Ultra
• Your friends follow your swim live, length after length
The screen locks itself at the start, as it should in water, and locks again as soon as you start swimming if you opened it along the way.
In open water, distance now comes from your wrist instead of GPS, which spends its time underwater and was overstating the distance. And you can start your swim from the phone: your watch is what counts, even if the phone stayed on the towel.
LIVE
• Less battery and less data when nobody is watching, and everything comes back to the second as soon as a friend opens your session
• Laps and lengths marked on your wrist arrive even when your screen is off
LEADERBOARDS
They now show everyone. Hiding your live or blocking someone closes the door to the live, but no longer erases anyone from a race that actually happened.
FIXES
• Distance and pace: one number, the same on your screen and on your watchers'
• No more "0.00 km" in the pool when no watch is counting lengths
2.8.4 Sep 2
A session's charts finally show the same distance and time as the session itself: the axis could read five kilometres more than the counter.
• Photos and videos scroll together, full width, in the order they were taken.
• Profiles show the gradient under your finger, and elevation climbed on a col.
• A col's elevation gain is a real total, no longer the gap between its lowest and highest points.
• Route, event and group stay editable even when you are not broadcasting live.
• Various display fixes.
2.8.3 Aug 31
The route map comes to Apple Watch: the line you follow, your position kept centered, zoom on the Digital Crown. You can pick your route from the wrist too, from your favorites or the starts closest to you.
• During a live, timed segments appear on the trace with their time, and tapping one highlights its portion.
• Walkie-talkie reaches the watch even when the session started on your phone.
• What you set on your wrist actually counts: location sharing, route, event and group all follow the session.
• A match score entered on Apple Watch reaches the recap, even with your phone in a pocket.
• Garmin: stopping on the watch no longer ends your Sweliv session, resuming works, and the heart rate curve keeps the real start.
• Climb and segment elevation profiles read under your finger, point by point.
• Side by side, your curve and theirs use the same scale.
• A drawn route always follows the roads.
• Far less mobile data used on videos, photos and during a session.
• The calendar opens on the right day.
• Claiming a reward is finally visible.
• Display fixes on climbs, segments, curves and the map.
2.8.2 Aug 28
A brand new Discover.
The tab used to be one big mosaic where everything looked alike. It is now a page you scroll through, where each thing has its own place and its own title.
FEATURED
Public sessions from Sweliv Athletes, shown large.
PEOPLE
Athletes worth following, then their profile cards exactly as they designed them.
ROUTES
The best routes in photos, plus a new "It climbs" row showing their elevation profile, so you know what it costs before you go. And suggestions near you, in your sport.
CLIMBS
Community documented cols, and ascents with the best time to beat and who holds it.
WORTH CELEBRATING
Matches won in a club, and personal records that have just fallen.
THIS WEEK'S BEST
Most watched and most loved posts and sessions, the longest outings per sport, and the weekly ranking for cycling, running, swimming, trail and gym.
THE SWELIV PULSE
The community's kilometres, hours and sessions over seven days, plus shortcuts to the rankings, the route catalogue, clubs and the calendar.
ELSEWHERE IN THE APP
Col badges now look the same everywhere: a triangle to say it is a col, colour and number for its category. The map's "Around here" drawer has been reworked, with an empty state that tells you what you were looking for.
2.8.1 Aug 27
• Your records stop contradicting each other: one number per effort, a clock that keeps running through pauses, and the RECORD badge now visible to anyone watching your session.
• On a climb, a side's rank and RECORD badge describe the athlete, not whoever is reading the page.
• Accurate heart rate zones, even on long sessions: they are counted on the full measurement instead of the summarised curve.
• The recap opens faster, and your curve's peak finally matches the max shown next to it.
• A live session takes over the bottom bar instead of stacking on top of it, and deleting an event removes it from your lists right away.
2.7.0 Aug 25
Sweliv X Apple Music
• Link your music to your session at the start: your friends see the track you are playing, artwork included.
• They can send you a song: it lands right after the current one, and you skip it with one gesture if you don't want it.
• Redesigned bottom bar: easier to read, easier to reach with your thumb.
• Tapping the tab you are already on scrolls the feed back to the top.
2.6.2 Aug 24
Sweliv X Apple Music
- Link your music when you start: your friends see the track you are playing, artwork included.
- They can send you a track: it lands right after the current one, and you skip it in one tap if you would rather not.
- The queue shows on both sides, with the name of whoever sent what.
- Listen along with the athlete you are watching: the full track if you subscribe, the thirty second preview otherwise.
- The soundtrack stays in your recap, with the distance where each track came on.
- One button, and your session playlist lands in your Apple Music library.
- No music by default: it is a choice you make at every start, not a setting that lingers.
Live
- Watch a friend's live without stopping your own session: theirs opens inside your tracking screen, and a bar brings you back to yours.
- Every ongoing live in one list, and the profile of whoever you are watching one tap away.
On the Lock Screen
- Reworked session card: duration, distance, average speed and elevation, with your viewers and comments.
- A session you are not broadcasting says so, instead of showing counters that cannot move.
Smoother
- Your profile and Discover load as you scroll, and the feed uses far less memory.
2.6.1 Aug 23
Sweliv 2.5.0
- Segments are timed live: your clock runs during the effort, with the record to beat.
- A segment follows its own sport, not just cycling: on foot too, your bar shows up.
- People watching you see the segment you are on.
- Every climb you cross gets its own card in the recap: the elevation profile, your climbing speed and your VAM.
- On each climb, the gap to your own best when it isn't one.
- Timed segments finally have their section: your sprints and hills were vanishing into thin air.
- An Analysis section: time spent climbing, descending and on the flat, elevation loss, grade adjusted pace and cardiac drift.
- On the recap map, climbs say their name and show the road you took.
- Photos, GIFs and voice messages in a session's comments.
- Splits are computed on your full track: yours and your viewers' finally say the same thing.
- The elevation graph shows your watch's climb, not an estimate.
- The timings card is now called Efforts: they aren't necessarily records.
- Map buttons keep the same shade, whatever the background.
- The Discover title matches the size of the home one.
2.5.0 Aug 13
Sweliv 2.3.0
- Routes have their own catalogue: everything in one place, with a search box.
- Creating a route now takes three steps: where it comes from, building it, describing it.
- Photos on a route, right from the start.
- A route can be fixed later: name, sport, place, description and photos.
- A drawn route can be redrawn, its line comes back onto the map.
- On the drawing map, a city search that offers a list, and a button to come back to you.
- The drawing tools carry their names, so you finally know which one follows the roads.
- A climb can be followed like a route, straight from the col page.
- Public clubs and groups have their own catalogue, with a search box and a badge on the ones you already joined.
- In Discover, the title moves to the left and the shortcuts line up on the right.
- GIFs in your chats, from the + in the composer.
- Shared links show their preview, and a session can be shared into a conversation.
- Swipe to reply works on everything, cards included.
- A tap on the mic opens the voice recorder.
- Live settings sit together: turning the broadcast off turns location and stats off with it.
- Speed and elevation stay visible even when you hide your location.
- Permissions are asked before the countdown, and the alert really takes you to the right setting.
- A denied Health permission no longer empties the whole session.
- Delete several sessions at once from the calendar.
- Import a training plan as a CSV file.
- Sweliv tells you what is new at launch, after every update.
2.3.0 Aug 5
Sweliv 2.2.0
- Your workouts now land in Health, even without an Apple Watch: duration, distance, calories, heart rate and route.
- No duplicate when your watch already saved the workout.
- A workout closed automatically keeps its heart rate curve.
- The calendar opens from the same button in Groups and in Discover.
- Creating an event happens from the calendar, where you already see your month.
- Search the calendar by title or by location.
- The event list no longer stops: it keeps loading as you scroll.
- Attaching a photo or a workout to an event no longer depends on the date: you just need to have said you're going.
- An event's wall reads in two parts: the build-up, then race day.
- You can post on a past event, your photos join race day.
- Finished events stay in Discover as long as there are photos to look back on.
- The comment count shows on feed activities, just like swelikes.
- It stays visible at zero, so the rail no longer shifts from one post to the next.
- Comments load all the way back, no cut-off at fifty.
- A satellite view on the map, toggled from the rail.
- 3D terrain keeps working on top of it.
- The feed icons are slightly smaller.
- The Photos and sessions title is finally aligned in its button.
2.2.0 Aug 3
Sweliv 2.1.0
- Garmin, for real: the field finally shows your pairing code legibly, on one line or two depending on the room.
- Pairing confirms itself in five seconds, without leaving the activity.
- You choose what the field shows: viewers, views, comments or swelikes.
- Full screen, all four counters at a glance. Quarter screen, the number alone.
- The field speaks English when your watch does.
- Disconnecting a watch from Sweliv resets it cleanly, with a fresh code.
- What your friends see live follows your Sweliv settings, even from a Garmin.
- An intro on first launch: a real map, your sessions, your friends, the climbs.
- Sign-in reworked: enter your address, Sweliv takes you the right way.
- Forgot password now reachable while creating an account too.
- An events calendar: the month at a glance, the full list underneath.
- An event happening today attaches to your session, matched on when you started.
- Post an activity or a photo into a private group, with its card in the conversation.
- The feed never names a private group.
- Joining a conversation no longer shows you what was said before you arrived.
- Read receipts move under the media, like they do for a message.
- Starting from your watch no longer creates two sessions, one of them empty.
- Finishing on the watch opens the wrap-up right away.
- Your watch shows on your own live, not only for the people watching you.
- On Apple Watch, power and cadence each get their own screen, big.
- Live options are set when you start the session, nowhere else.
2.1.0 Aug 2
Sweliv 2.0.0
- Garmin is here. Drop the Sweliv data field onto your usual screen: your Edge, Forerunner or fenix streams your live and the session lands in your history.
- You keep your Garmin profile and your screens, Sweliv slots into them.
- Pairing works the right way round: the watch shows a code, you type it into Sweliv.
- Live climbs rebuilt: the climb's route appears while you ride it, with your progress and what's left.
- One tap opens the detail: the community's best time, your own record, and your friends on the same side.
- Segments too, not just cols, cycling and running alike.
- One notification when a friend attacks a climb. Just one.
- Your climb no longer vanishes mid-ascent and the clock no longer resets.
- Climbing the same col twice in one ride is finally timed ascent by ascent.
- New way to start: the map keeps one button, every setting moves to the next screen.
- Story exports are yours to shape: three stats of your choosing, the route optional.
- Chat: swipe to reply, tag with @, take a photo, copy, edit, pin.
- Editing a message no longer buzzes the whole group.
- Videos finally show as thumbnails in your activities and on your profile.
- Your public web profile shows your sessions, their stats and their route.
- Records measured on the official distance: your 10 km reads the same everywhere.
- Talkie on the watch for a session started on your phone.
- No more freeze when you come back from managing your subscription.
2.0.0 Aug 1
Sweliv 1.3.1
- Your live is now truly private. Only your mutual friends can watch you in real time. Sharing a group is no longer enough.
- New: live without location. Your friends follow your time, stats, talkie and comments, but no map and no route during the session. Your route shows up in the recap once you finish.
- You choose who sees each live at start: everyone, a few friends, or your friends from a group.
- Notifications finally live where they belong: a bell on each friend's profile for their session starts, and a per-group "Activity cards" setting for finishes, milestones and records. No more duplicates.
- A session with live mode off no longer notifies anyone, no more start notifications.
- Tennis and padel: best-of-5 matches and a super tie-break on the deciding set, on the phone as on the watch.
- The name you give your session now shows up live, at the top of your map and on your lock screen.
- A subtle haptic tick follows your finger as you scrub through activity stat charts.
- The Discover grid has been redesigned, tighter and cleaner.
- A photo message now reads "Photo" in your conversations and on live comment bubbles, no more empty lines.
- A friend's live route no longer draws a ghost line when you come back to the app, and the col card no longer flickers mid-climb.
- Default activity titles finally sound like English: Morning run, not Morning Running.
1.3.1 Jul 28
Sweliv 1.3.0
- You crossed paths. When you cross someone during a session, their photo is pinned on the map exactly where you met. Even if you do not follow each other. You find them again in your activity recap, and you decide whether to say hello.
- A notification when an athlete crosses you, grouped when there are several, and named for your friends.
- Crossings can be turned off in the settings, and nothing is ever recorded near your privacy zone.
- New visibility level: Personal. On top of Public and Private, a personal activity appears in no feed, on no map and on no profile. It stays yours alone.
- Routes. Published routes now show up in Discover, with several photos, and the trace itself is drawn when there is no picture.
- Name your activity when you start it, on the phone or on the watch, and the name carries over to the recap.
- Promo codes. An "I have a code" button on the subscription screen.
- The watch is now translated in French and English, following your phone's language.
- Richer watch recap: average pace, max and min heart rate, power and cadence.
- Record a session from your watch alone, without your phone, whatever the sport.
- A like on a live no longer disappears, and a col card no longer flickers when you open it.
- The event time picker is finally readable in dark mode.
1.3.0 Jul 26
Sweliv 1.2.2
- Your match scores (tennis, padel) now appear in the feed, next to the duration.

- Distance now shows in the detail of your tennis and padel matches.
- Gym and tennis sessions show on the map with a pin, even without a route.
- Privacy: hiding your live from someone now hides their notifications too, including col attacks.
1.2.2 Jul 22
Sweliv 1.2.1
- Watch: the options you pick when starting a workout (live mode, discovery, walkie-talkie) are now properly applied. Before, turning live off on the watch could still put you live.
- Heart rate recorded during a watch workout now always shows in the recap, even when the phone ends the activity.
- Smoother, cleaner climbs map: pins load progressively as you zoom, no more slowdowns or crashes when too many climbs were on screen.
