Quell now runs on iOS 18 and later. That means it works on a lot more iPhones — including iPhone X, XR, XS and SE (2nd generation), which couldn't install it before. Same app, same privacy: nothing ever leaves your phone. Questions or feedback? focuslimits.appblocker@gmail.com

A fix for daily limits: Apps that reached a daily limit yesterday no longer come back blocked when you open Quell the next morning. Every day starts fresh, and a limit blocks only once you've actually reached it that day. Questions or feedback? focuslimits.appblocker@gmail.com

• Premium is now available as a one-time purchase — buy it once, keep it for good. No subscription. • Quill now keeps you company on the Usage stats screen, and reacts when you tap him. • He's a little bigger everywhere, plus polish to the streak celebration.

Meet Quill — plus a new block screen, a new widget, and fixes: • Say hello to Quill, your focus companion. He curls up while your apps are blocked, dozes when protection is off, and celebrates the moment you reach a streak milestone. • A new block screen — Quill now fills the shield, bigger and unmistakably yours. • The widget, rebuilt around him: your status, the rules blocking right now, and your streak at a glance. • Better on iPad — the celebration and feedback cards now open at full height, so no choice hides below the fold. • Fixes: changing a rule's daily limit now takes effect immediately, sharing a milestone no longer closes the card, and the back button follows your theme.
