Fixed: after a lesson's timing check, the “Next in your riyaz” card for a Pro drill now opens the Pro screen when you tap it, and closing it brings you back to your result. Before, that tap could do nothing.

Dha Pro is now a one-time Lifetime purchase, shown first on the Pro screen: pay once, with no renewal. Current subscribers can switch to Lifetime from Settings. New on the Play tab: a metronome that knows the taal. It clicks on every matra, strongest on sam and softer on khali. Turn the theka off for a click-only or lehra-only loop. The lehra picker now lists scales and explains that the loop keeps time rather than performing a raga. Festival-dated practice reminders have been removed.

This version also removes automatic purchase-record uploads from the app to Dha's server. Experimental timing checks remain separate from teacher or self-review of bols and physical technique.

Fixes Check My Timing. Two players wrote in: every timing check ended with "The microphone route is not ready yet," even though mic permission was on and Voice Memos recorded fine. Try again never recovered, and reinstalling didn't help. They were right, and it wasn't their phones — the app was opening the microphone in a way that could come up dead, and every retry reused that same dead route. Now each check opens a fresh audio engine, verifies the mic is actually live before you play, and rebuilds it from scratch if it isn't. The misleading "reconnect your microphone" message is gone too — nothing was ever wrong with your hardware. Thank you to the two people who reported this.

Dha 3.2 introduces a complete honest-practice loop: riyaz days, XP and levels; guided practice progression; padhant timing; private friends-and-family challenges; Story-sized first-win cards; saved-take playback; reminders; and an offline on-device tabla coach. The new Lifetime option joins Monthly and Yearly access. We also fixed tab switching for iOS 26 and updated every support and privacy surface. Bol recognition remains deliberately off until real-phone calibration is complete—Dha grades timing and sam only when the evidence is clear, and abstains when it is not.
