Version 1.2 makes it faster to start on any verse, and fixes the bug that could leave a brand-new install unresponsive. FIXED • On a fresh install, the app could stop responding right after sign-in or after returning from another app, and only a relaunch would bring it back. That is fixed, and it is the reason for this release. If it happened to you, we are sorry, and thank you for the reports that led us to it. • The first-verse walkthrough and the daily reminder prompt now wait until the screen has settled before appearing. NEW • A new + button on Home and Practice lets you add any verse, passage, or chapter and start practicing it right away, without going through the library first. • Home now shows your recent verses, the ones you practiced or added lately, so you can pick up where you left off in one tap. • Reaching a new level now comes with confetti. You earned it. IMPROVED • Every verse pack in the library is open to everyone. Packs are no longer locked behind levels. • Book search finds any of the 66 books from either testament tab, ignores accents, and matches English names in every app language. • Onboarding polish and smaller fixes throughout. Verse Ninja 1.1 makes practice smoother and puts you in charge of which Bible version each verse uses. YOUR VERSES, YOUR VERSIONS Add a verse in any translation or language without switching the whole app. Each verse remembers its own version, and practice, verse detail, and your groups all show it that way. Everything else keeps following your Settings. NEVER LOSE PROGRESS AGAIN A new skip button in the practice header lets you skip the current game and keep everything you have already completed. We also fixed the bug that made a saved practice session reset out of nowhere. BETTER PRACTICE • Write It From Memory is now three rounds: Easy, Medium, and Hard blank out more words each time, and each round blanks different words. • Word Halves now plays every word in the verse, in order, with a scrolling board for long verses. • Acrostic jumps to the next unsolved word after each answer, so you never have to tap around. • Speak the verse: the spoken final in the hard round is more forgiving, and you can always switch to typing with the new Type it / Speak it toggle. FIND ANY BOOK, FAST Book search now covers all 66 books at once, ignores accents, understands English names in any app language, and switches testament tabs for you. FAMILY PACK Family owners can manage seats and invites straight from the Plus card on the Profile tab. FASTER, LIGHTER The app no longer loads the entire Bible into memory at launch, so it starts faster and uses far less memory, especially on older devices and iPads. SIGN-IN FIXES • Fixed a freeze that could happen right after signing in. • Fixed a false "timed out" error when the Apple sign-in sheet took a while to appear.
