Photograph the rating plate or the error display. Text recognition runs entirely on your iPhone, and FixFrame looks the fault up in a hand-authored library of error codes across nine major brands: what the code means in plain English, whether it is a do-it-yourself job or a service call, roughly what a callout costs, and the safety step to take first. No code on the display? A guided symptom flow ranks the likely causes instead.
Every fix is written from manufacturer service literature and common-repair consensus. Nothing is generated, and FixFrame tells you to stop and call a licensed technician whenever a repair touches gas, mains power or sealed refrigerant, even when that costs it the "you can DIY this" answer.

Diagnosing works offline. There is no account and no sign-up, and your photos never leave your iPhone.
FixFrame Pro is an auto-renewing subscription offered monthly or yearly, both with a 3-day free trial. Payment is charged to your Apple Account at confirmation of purchase. The subscription renews automatically unless it is cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period, and you can manage or cancel it any time in your Apple Account settings.

- This app hasn’t received enough ratings or reviews to display an overview.
This update makes the app honest about what you are paying for.
- The unlock card used to say "pay once". FixFrame only ever sold auto-renewing subscriptions, so that was simply wrong. It now states the real terms.
- The paywall sold the symptom decision trees and "unlimited diagnoses". Both have always been free for everyone, and the paywall now says so in its own section instead of quietly implying they are paid.
- Every remaining Pro claim is now generated from the code that enforces it, so a benefit cannot be advertised unless something actually gates it.
