Small consistency fixes for the new galaxy view. Credits have also been brought up to date.

A new view of the Solar system. The Horizon view gains a full-screen landscape mode, ISS and Hubble passes, and on-plot controls. Widgets got a lot of attention: settings changes now reach an iOS widget straight away instead of after a restart, widgets draw the bodies you actually selected, and you can give each widget its own configuration.

You can now unlock Orrery's saved settings with a one-time payment instead of a subscription.

Orrery now includes a Virtual Horizon View: a live, true-perspective picture of the sky above you, with the Sun, Moon, planets and constellations placed exactly where you'd find them. This release also corrects dwarf planet positions, fixes meteor shower peak dates around the new year, simplifies widget setup, and makes the home-screen widget noticeably lighter on battery.

This update adds an in-app prompt that lets you update Orrery with a single tap when a new version is available. We've also tidied up the Upcoming Events list so it no longer shows eclipses that aren't visible from your location, fixed deep-sky object labels on the home-screen widget, and made the widget's lock-to-night-hour option work consistently everywhere.

New Tonight widget: a quick glance at tonight's sky — moon phase, meteor showers, the next ISS pass, and upcoming planet events — right on your home screen. This update also adds solar transits of Mercury and Venus and close planetary conjunctions to the events list, refreshes the Constellations view, reorganises Settings, and lets you keep the brightest objects always visible. Free to explore, with an optional unlock to save your personalised setup across sessions.

Meet the outer planets: a new Ice Giant Moons card tracks Uranus's five major moons and Neptune's Triton, with fresh moon artwork throughout. The Moon now reddens on the arc during a lunar eclipse, and new East/West compass labels help you orient the sky. This release also polishes the purchase flow, smooths out panning, and fixes a handful of layout and widget-setup details.

The Messier catalogue is now much bigger — 85 deep-sky objects, each with its own photo. New filter chips let you narrow the list by type (galaxies, clusters, nebulae) or to just what's visible tonight. The background-image picker has been reworked with per-image framing and an easier way to manage your random rotation. You can now tap any Sun, Moon, planet, or meteor-shower event to jump the sky arc straight to it. Plus faster loading, much smaller download size, and a batch of stability fixes.

Orrery now draws a full field of background stars behind the sky, with a new brightness slider to dial in exactly how many you see — both in the app and on your home-screen widget. We've also polished the sunrise and sunset icons in the Tonight card.

The sky chart no longer redraws empty updates. On the Planetary Moons card you can tap any moon to show or hide its orbit line. Tap an upcoming event to jump the sky straight to that moment. Bright stars now show truer colours, the getting-started tour is clearer, and the home-screen widget is easier to add. This release also includes a batch of accuracy improvements to eclipse, planet, moon and star calculations.
