Lope: Pet Walking Logger
Dog Walk Tracker
Free · In‑App Purchases · Designed for iPad. Not verified for macOS.
Records the whole walk — even with your phone locked. Send clients a route map and report by text. 215 breeds set each dog's daily target.
Lope is a walk tracker for people who walk dogs for a living — and for households where more than one person shares the lead.
THE WALK ACTUALLY GETS RECORDED
Most trackers quietly stop when you lock your phone, take a call or open your music. Lope keeps recording in the background and saves every GPS point the moment it arrives, so an interrupted walk is still there when you come back — and resumes where it left off.
• Route map with pace splits and elevation
• Choose exactly which dogs are on this walk
• Pee, poop and break markers pinned on the route, per dog
• Photos with captions
• Pause when you stop — the clock and the route both wait
• Add finished walks to Apple Health as workouts
A REPORT YOUR CLIENT NEEDS NO APP FOR
Finish a walk and share the route map, duration, distance, breaks and photos by text or email. Your client just opens it. No app, no account, no login.
A DAILY TARGET THAT FITS THE DOG
215 breeds across all seven AKC groups. Each dog's target is calculated from breed group, size and age — including the published puppy guideline of five minutes per month of age — and the app shows you how it reached the number. Flat-faced breeds get a lower ceiling because they overheat. These are evidence-informed targets, not a veterinary prescription. Ask your vet about your dog's needs.
REMINDERS, NOT ALARMS
A dog that hasn't been out, a target still within reach, a walk you forgot to stop. Quiet hours keep it silent overnight. Tap a reminder and it starts the walk; finishing the walk clears it.
YOUR CLIENTS, IN ORDER
The households you walk for, whose dogs are whose, the lockbox code, the vet's number.
EVERYTHING STAYS ON YOUR PHONE
No account, no sign-up, no cloud. Nothing leaves the device unless you share a report.
