• Markups added by other PDF apps are editable now. Drag a shape, line or arrow and Sumipa rewrites the actual coordinates, not just the appearance, so what you moved on the Mac stays in the same place when the file is reopened in the original app. Polygons and revision clouds follow resizing and 90-degree rotation vertex by vertex. • Double-click a text box to retype it right on the page. Like in Word, you can rewrite text in place without opening a separate window, including text boxes created by other apps. (Callouts and text on rotated pages still open the usual dialog.) • Cmd+Z now puts a markup back where it was after you move it. Until now moving was not undoable, and pressing Cmd+Z would undo whatever you did before the move instead. • Editor windows now support tabs. When you open multiple PDFs, the second and later ones open as tabs in the same window, so you can switch between PDFs just like in Safari. Drag tabs to reorder, or drag one out to detach it into a separate window. Prefer separate windows as before? Turn tabs off in Settings. • Copy annotations between PDFs. Copy shapes, text and other annotations with Cmd+C and paste them with Cmd+V into another PDF open in a different tab or window. Select multiple annotations to paste them with their relative positions preserved. • Text annotation frames now follow the size and length of your text automatically: enlarge the font and the frame grows with it; shrink the font or shorten the text and the frame tightens up without wasted space. • Fixed an issue where Redo (Cmd+Shift+Z) did not re-apply style and z-order changes correctly. • Minor stability improvements. • Enhanced mouse controls in the editor. Hold the Space key (or the Command key) and turn the mouse wheel to zoom in and out, centered on the cursor — go straight to the detail you want to inspect. • Hold the middle mouse button (the wheel button) and drag to grab the page and move it freely (pan). • New "Titles" tab in the property panel: register the titles you use often (drawing names, document numbers) and place them at the bottom-right of the page with one click. Four styles, adjustable size, drag to reposition, and export/import (.sumipatitles). • Paste a screenshot on the desk with ⌘V and it instantly becomes a PDF card — a quick way to pin visual notes next to your drawings. • Change a page's paper size after the fact (e.g. A4 → A3), with an option to keep the orientation fixed. • Desk cards now show a paper-size badge, and you can check real-world dimensions at a glance. • Fixed copy & paste not working correctly in body text editing. • The "Copy all annotations to following pages" button has been simplified to "Copy selected to following pages". • Minor stability improvements. • Convert PDF to Excel (.xlsx): tables are automatically reconstructed into rows and columns, one sheet per page. Numbers become real numeric cells ready for calculation, and column widths / row spacing follow the original layout. • Convert PDF to Word (.docx): rules, shapes and images are reproduced as a background layer, with editable text placed on top at its original position. The document opens looking almost identical to the PDF — yet every piece of text can be edited freely. • Scanned (image-only) PDFs work too: text is read via automatic OCR (Japanese and English) before conversion. • Find both under File → Export. • New "Region Edit" tool: draw a rectangle over any part of a PDF and move, rotate, resize, flip, duplicate or delete it. Shift a door or symbol on a drawing to another spot, or remove an unwanted area — real edits to the PDF itself, all inside Sumipa with no other software. • When you move a region, its original spot is automatically filled with the surrounding color, so it leaves little trace. • "Bake" your edits to commit them: deleted areas are truly removed and saved beyond recovery — handy for redacting sensitive content. • Minor stability improvements. • Added drawing scale settings: set a scale such as 1:100 or 1:50, and the measure tool shows distance, area and perimeter at real-world size. • Share Markup Tools: export your style presets and custom stamps to a single file (.sumipatools) and share them with another Mac or a teammate. Use Settings (⌘,) → Annotation → "Share Markup Tools" to export/import. Great for moving to a new Mac or distributing your office's standard tools. • Compare auto-align: when the old and new drawings are slightly offset, Sumipa now registers them before diffing — preventing dozens of false revision clouds caused by a simple shift (on by default in cloud-mark mode; toggleable). • Improved OCR search highlighting: highlights on searched scanned PDFs are clearer and no longer disappear while you work. • Sticky note colors can now be changed.
