Everyone's life album is like a great odyssey. PhotoOdyssey is a local-first photo management app for large personal libraries. It grew out of a real need: the developer owns more than 200,000 photos shot with phones and professional cameras, including about 100,000 RAW files, and needed one fast interface for browsing, organizing, and finding the right images. PhotoOdyssey is designed for photography enthusiasts, creators, and independent workers with large photo libraries. Add folders from your drives, let the app build a local index and thumbnails, and keep browsing smooth even when the library gets huge. Key features: - Quickly browse hundreds of thousands of photos - Support large local libraries that include RAW files - View, filter, and find photos in one interface - Configure a large language model for natural-language photo search - For example: "photos from 2025 with a car under snowy mountains" - Keep library data local where possible, with a lightweight and controllable workflow This is only the first version of PhotoOdyssey. I hope you enjoy using it, and I would love to build it with you into a photo manager that stays useful, fast, and always small.
