degenerates is end-to-end encrypted messaging for people who still believe
conversations should be private.
No phone number. No email. No contact upload. Sign in with a passkey, get a
private account, and start chats with the people you actually want to talk to.
Built on the Matrix protocol. Your messages and selected attachments are
end-to-end encrypted, so the server stores ciphertext it cannot read. The
network is invite-only and closed to outside servers — there is no public
directory to be found in, and nobody joins who wasn't invited. It is made for
smaller rooms, quieter groups, and conversations that do not need to be tracked,
profiled, or turned into content.

• Hold a message to react and see your options: your saved stickers and favourite emoji sit above it; Reply, Copy, Edit, Delete and Report sit below.
• Save messages: swipe left on one and tap Save. Find them again under the bookmark in Messages.
• Camera: tap + in a chat, then Camera, to send a photo or video with a caption.
• Give contacts a colour and a nickname.
• Themes: pick an accent and bubble colour in Settings → Appearance.
• Share a contact from your address book into a chat.
• Add someone from a group as a contact: swipe right on them in the member list.
• Tap a group member to see their profile and message them.
