Improvements: - Sudoku Forever now adapts to whatever screen size you prefer, meaning it's now beautiful not just on your iPhone but also your iPad or even on that new-fangled Duo thing they got going on there. Fixes: - In rare cases some personalised handwritten numbers were not being stored. The offending code was found, scolded in no uncertain terms and sent to bed with no dinner.

Well, it's been a while and it's fair to say this ain't no "Bug fixes and performance improvements". New: - Multi-size sudoku grids are here! No longer are you shackled to just 9x9 grids! Free users can now also generate and scan 6x6 (wide) grids. Pro users meanwhile get 4x4, 6x6 (wide), 6x6 (tall), 8x8 (wide) and 8x8 (tall). Improvements: - Cleaned up onboarding and upgrade screens; now they're so presentable you could introduce them to your parents. - Lovely shiny liquid glass navigation bar (iOS26 onwards).

Fixes: - Single pencil marks were sometimes being treated as solved values which resulted in no hints being offered. Bug has been thoroughly slapped and told not to do it again. - iPad users were being presented with insanely wide onboarding instructions. These have been dis-widened, enshrunked and smallened.

Improvements: - Onboarding instructions are now much more friendly, presentable and, well, just darned nicer all around - Onboarding instructions now integrate the add-first-value-as-Solved-Value-or-Pencil-Mark decision

Improvements: - App now starts much smoother when launching via Quick Actions. Didn't even know Sudoku Forever offered Quick Actions for creating and scanning? Well now you do- why not give them a go?

Improvements: - Now you can choose whether single numbers are initially added as pencil marks or placed values. Pencil marks are the default but this can be changed on the Settings screen if you're like me and are darned well committed to every number you place.

Fixes: - Hint engine was treating single possibles as solved values. Told it not do that anymore and stop being silly.

Improvements: - Now fully house-trained and cleans up after itself, meaning there's no more old Sudoku images clogging up your precious iDevice. (May still occasionally gnaw on the sofa however)

Improvements: - Dragging and dropping on the sudoku grid is now even more responsive. - Made sound effects less shouty. Fixes: - Sudokus no longer take over the entirety of the screen on smaller screened iPads.

Improvements: - For those who like to work on Sudokus one number at a time you can now add single possibles. Simply tap a cell with one value in it to magically transform it into a possible. Or tap it again to change it back. - Possibles animations are now even more whizzy and bouncy.

Improvements: - Increased quick solving intelligence by 37% (give or take 36.9%). Fixed: - iPad UI no longer features the world's biggest "Processing" animation ever seen in the history of all mankind.
