Cooking changes the weight of food through water loss or absorption. That can make a prepared serving difficult to compare with its original raw ingredients. Mealful connects the raw weight, cooked weight and consumed amount, giving you a clearer view of every portion you prepare.
FROM RAW INGREDIENTS TO COOKED PORTIONS
Record the total raw and cooked weights of a meal. Mealful calculates the relationship between them and uses it whenever you log a cooked serving.
If a meal weighs 1,000 g raw and 750 g after cooking, Mealful can calculate the raw equivalent of any amount you eat. This relationship remains available as you divide the meal into portions or gradually use what remains.
