Root Connect uses your own Google Drive to sync your Root workspace between iPhone and the Desktop Root Workspace in Chrome. In plain language: • Root on iPhone is free. • Root Workspace in Chrome is free. • You only pay one time if you want to sync your devices through Google Drive. • There is no subscription. • Root does not host your notes on a Root server. • Your workspace remains usable if you never buy Root Connect to sync your devices. Root is designed for working text: the ideas, tasks, transcripts, links, research, and rough material that need a quiet place to land before you decide what comes next.
