Type your message, rotate the phone, hold it up. Beacon turns your screen into a bright scrolling LED sign for concerts, raves, festivals, and airport pickups.
Hold up a message the whole room can read.
Beacon turns your phone into a bright, scrolling LED sign — the kind you hold overhead at a concert, a rave, a festival, a tailgate, or an airport arrivals gate. Type your message, rotate the phone sideways, and it goes full screen at full brightness.
Beacon is free. Writing, styling, and exporting a sign costs nothing, and the eight Beacons it comes with play in full — every effect, no preview stubs. Designing effects into your own signs and saving them is one optional purchase called All Access, described at the end.
TYPE IT. ROTATE IT. DONE.
Rotate to landscape and your Beacon fills the screen: status bar gone, brightness pinned, sleep disabled. Rotate back upright to exit. There are no buttons to find in the dark — held overhead, it works by feel.
MAKE IT YOURS — FREE
• 35+ display fonts, plus bold, italic, underline, and letter spacing
• Five color modes: solid, gradient, rainbow, color shift, and blink
• Add your own logo or photo. It scrolls right alongside your text, or replaces it entirely, and picks up the same effects.
• Export any Beacon as a looping video or an animated GIF — post it, text it, drop it on a story
THE EFFECTS CATALOG — ALL ACCESS
• 17 effects — wave, bounce, jelly, jitter, melt, size pulse, bulge, pulse, strobe, negative flash, outline, neon glow, glitch, scanlines, laser scan, emoji confetti rain, and music reactive
• 8 animated backgrounds — equalizer, pulsing symbol, radiating rings, siren, waveform, starfield, and plasma
• Your own library — save, rename, and duplicate as many Beacons as you like, on top of the eight that come free
REACTS TO THE MUSIC
Turn on Music Reactive and your Beacon breathes with the room. The mic reads the actual volume in front of you and your sign pulses with the bass. (Part of All Access.)
LIVE GESTURES
Once you're up, everything is a gesture. Pinch to resize the text. Drag to speed the scroll up or slow it down. Swipe to flip between your favorites while the set changes. Lock the rotation when you want to hold it at a weird angle without it quitting on you.
OUT OF IDEAS?
Tap Random Phrase for festival-tested copy: DJ requests, hype lines, PLUR, and a few that shouldn't be printed here. Or hit Shuffle and let Beacon pick the look for you — colors and fonts, plus the effects once you have All Access.
A NOTE ON FLASHING
Strobe, Negative Flash, and Siren flash rapidly. They sit behind a one-time warning, they will never be switched on by Shuffle, and they stay dark until you confirm you've read it. If you or anyone near you is photosensitive, leave them off.
ALL ACCESS
One optional purchase unlocks all 17 effects, all 8 animated backgrounds, Music Reactive, and saving Beacons to your own library. It also turns off the share screen that appears now and then in Display Mode. One payment, not a subscription. No ads, ever.
