THE APP NOW SPEAKS YOUR LANGUAGE - The whole app is now available in 15 languages: English, German, French, Spanish, Italian, Brazilian Portuguese, Japanese, Korean, Chinese, Dutch, Polish, Turkish, Russian, Swedish and Indonesian. It follows the language your Mac is set to. - After a run that went well, the app now uses the Mac's own rating sheet, so you can leave a rating without leaving the app.

TRIPS, SEVERAL FOLDERS AT ONCE, AND MORE CONTROL OVER EVERY RUN - Several folders at once: pick more than one source folder for a single run, and optionally delete the input when it is done. - Organize a folder in place: rewrite it into the new structure where it is, with the replaced originals kept in an "Originals" folder or removed. - A "Year / Trip" folder layout: photos taken close together in time and place land in one trip folder — 2024/Paris weekend, not 400 loose files. - Custom date and place for a whole folder, for scans and old imports that carry no metadata of their own. Each is optional, and a typo is refused. - Rotation is baked into the pixels, so a photo shot sideways stays upright in every app, not only the ones that read the orientation tag. - Live Photos: the HEIC and its MOV stay together. - Screenshots and documents can go to their own folders, or be skipped. - A date range filter, duplicate reporting in dry runs, an optional cap on the longest edge, and a printable contact sheet per folder. - Captions from the sidecar are written into the photo. - Have an App Store offer code? Redeem it from the Premium sheet. - Contact us from the sidebar, a Help link, and a close button on the Premium sheet.

A NEW FOLDER LAYOUT: YEAR / LOCATION Choose "Year / Location" under Folders and you get one folder per year, with a subfolder for each place inside it — 2024/Paris, 2024/Lisbon, 2024/Rome. A year stays together, and the places inside it are still easy to find. This is the opposite of the existing "Location / Year", which puts the place first and so scatters one year across the whole library. Both are there; pick whichever way you think about your photos. Photos with no location are not shunted into an "Unknown" folder. They simply stay in the year folder alongside everything else from that year.

TIME ZONES RECORDED, NOT GUESSED A photo's date is stored as plain text with no time zone, so other apps have to guess which one it means — and they guess differently. Every photo now carries its time zone alongside the date, so the exact moment it was taken is unambiguous everywhere. VIDEOS THAT ACTUALLY PLAY Old exports are full of formats nothing opens any more — AVI from camcorders, WMV, 3GP from early phones, MKV. Turn on "Convert videos to MP4" and they all become MP4, keeping their real dates. .mov has its own switch. QuickTime video plays fine on a Mac, so converting old camcorder footage no longer drags your iPhone videos along with it. Files that already play everywhere are never re-encoded. YOUR OWN TEXT IN FILENAMES Add a word before or after every filename — a family name, a trip, an archive code. Off by default, so nothing changes unless you ask. BETTER SIDECAR MATCHING Google has quietly changed how it names the .json files three times. This release handles the truncated names Google produces for long filenames, and the case where a duplicate moves the counter onto the sidecar (IMG_6503(1).JPG pairs with IMG_6503.JPG.supplemental-metadata(1).json). Photos that previously came out with the wrong date now get the right one.

A big visual upgrade and better support for external drives: • Beautiful new look — animated aurora sidebar, glass cards, and a celebratory finish when your library is done • Organize straight onto USB sticks and external drives: filenames are now safe for exFAT/FAT32/NTFS volumes • Free-space check before organizing starts, so you get one clear message instead of hundreds of errors • If a drive is disconnected mid-run, the app stops with a helpful message — photos already organized stay safe • Small fixes and polish throughout
