Rebuilt Scoring Scoring is now aligned with the SCA's Coffee Value Assessment. The brew form gains an Affective Impressions section — Fragrance, Aroma, Flavor, Aftertaste, Acidity, Sweetness and Mouthfeel — and your overall enjoyment is calculated from the impressions you set, the way an affective score is. Overall enjoyment and your taste profile are also fully independent now, so rating one no longer changes the other. Taste analytics were reworked to match, and a new "What You Love" insight contrasts your highest-rated brews with your average. Interactive Origin Map Your Taste Analytics page now has a map of everywhere your coffees come from. Tap a country to zoom into its regions, or open the map full screen to explore. The map travels with the app, so it works without a connection. Your favorite coffees live on that same card — the top four by score, and the top five in whatever part of the world the full-screen map is showing. Favorite Roasters A new card ranks the roasters you log most often, with your average score for each. It appears once you have logged coffees from more than five roasters. Sharper Label Scanning The scan screen now highlights the text it recognizes as you frame the bag, so you can see what CoffeeLog is reading before you shoot. Capture is cropped to the on-screen bracket guide, so the scanner gets the label and nothing around it, and you can tap the captured photo to enlarge it before you continue or retake. Plus smaller refinements across the journal, brew sorting, and iCloud sync, along with bug fixes and stability improvements.

Blend Coffee Support You can now log blend coffees with more than one origin country, each with its own region. Coffee details, your journal, and the world map all show every origin in a blend — not just the first one — and your taste analytics count each origin separately. Smarter Label Scanning We rebuilt how CoffeeLog reads coffee bag labels behind the scenes, making scans noticeably more reliable. Roaster names are recognized far more accurately, region fills in automatically in more cases, and scanning now holds up better across a wider range of label designs and languages. Bug fixes and stability improvements.

iCloud Backup Protection When reinstalling the app, CoffeeLog now detects your existing iCloud backup and asks whether you'd like to restore your journal or start fresh — so your data is always safe, even across reinstalls. Improved Brew Analytics Taste scoring now correctly handles coffees with multiple varieties. If you log single-origin bags with more than one cultivar listed on the label, your scores and analytics will reflect each variety accurately. Bug fixes and stability improvements.
