Brevity draws your life as a grid of weeks: the ones you have lived, and the ones you have left. It sits on your Home Screen and Lock Screen as a widget, so the reminder is there every time you pick up your phone, without opening anything.
Set it up in a minute. Enter your birthday and the age you expect to reach, choose a look, and add the widget. That is the whole setup.
WHAT IT DOES
• Shows the percentage of your life lived and the weeks remaining, always current.
• Home Screen widgets in two sizes and Lock Screen widgets, all translucent so they pick up your wallpaper.
• One daily challenge: a concrete thing to do today, such as calling someone you have been meaning to call. Mark it done from the widget. Tomorrow it resets.
• A plain record of the challenges you completed. No streaks, no badges, no guilt.
• A daily quote worth sitting with.
• Tap any week in the grid to see when it was and how old you were.
• An optional daily reminder, off by default.
WHAT IT DOES NOT DO
• No account, no sign-in, no email.
• No analytics, no ads, no tracking, no third-party code.
• Nothing is sent anywhere. Your settings stay on your phone and sync through your own iCloud.
THEMES
Four themes are free: Default, Mono, Tinted, and Cosmos. Four more can be bought for a small one-time price if you want to support the app: Aurora, Forest, Fire, and Ocean. Buying one changes the colours and nothing else; every feature stays free.
Brevity is built for iOS 26 with the native Liquid Glass design. It is deliberately small. Memento mori works best when it is quiet.
