Just Transcribe turns your voice into text, entirely on your iPhone and iPad. No cloud. No account. No tracking. Your recordings never leave your device, because there is nowhere else for them to go.
Most transcription apps quietly ship your audio off to a server. This one does not. The AI lives on your phone, so the moment you stop recording, the only copy in the world is already in your pocket.
WHAT IT DOES
Record live or import a file, decide how clever you want the AI to be, and read your words back as text. Follow along as it plays, fix the odd slip, see who said what. One job, your words as text, and it minds its own business while doing it.
PRIVATE BY DESIGN
• Transcription and speaker recognition run on-device with OpenAI's Whisper. Nothing is uploaded.
• No account, no sign-up, no analytics, no third parties.
• It only asks for the microphone. The single permission it needs.
• It goes online exactly once, to download a model. After that, nothing.
• Delete any recording, transcript or model whenever you like. Gone is gone.
