New: learn Civil War tactics on the Drill Field, four free Forgotten Fields battles, and all-new battle sound.
Command the Civil War's great battles on the maps the armies actually used, and learn how they were really fought.
Choose a side, Union or Confederacy, pick your enemy's skill, and take the field. Hold the high ground, use the woods, dig in behind earthworks, and fight the battle the way the generals had to: with the ground in front of you and the clock running.
LEARN TO COMMAND
New to wargames? Start on the Drill Field. Seven guided lessons take you from your first order to taking an enemy flag: cover, formations, guns on the high ground, holding the line and turning a flank, each with the history behind it. The Field Manual explains Civil War tactics any time, even mid-battle.
TWELVE BATTLES FREE
• Antietam, Gettysburg, Chancellorsville and Shiloh
• The opening battle of every campaign: Gettysburg's first day, the Cornfield at Antietam, the Hornet's Nest at Shiloh, and Fort Donelson
• Forgotten Fields: Roanoke Island, New Bern, Cedar Mountain and Fort Wagner, lesser-known battles fought in part by Connecticut regiments
HISTORICAL CAMPAIGNS (expansion)
Gettysburg day by day, Antietam hour by hour from the Cornfield to Burnside's Bridge, and both days at Shiloh. Eight scenarios on the period surveys, with over two hundred named commands deployed where the surveys put them.
GRANT'S CAMPAIGNS (expansion)
Follow Ulysses S. Grant from Fort Donelson to Appomattox: Champion Hill, the great assault on Vicksburg, the charge up Missionary Ridge, the Wilderness, the Bloody Angle at Spotsylvania, and the last attack of Lee's army. Seven battles on the Army's own engineer surveys and field maps.
LEARN AS YOU PLAY
Every campaign battle ends with what really happened, why it mattered, the words of the people who were there, and how your losses compare with history. Made for history readers, students and teachers as much as for wargamers.
FEATURES

• Play either side at three levels of difficulty
• Classic view, or units drawn as period battle-map symbols
• Short battles: five minutes to break the line or hold it

I like that it’s an RTS. But I have a lot suggestions. You should use actual maps from the time an over lay them. That would be a pretty cool addition. Also make the units like how they are portrayed on battle maps and make the armies actual size with accurate units. And the ability to select sides. The game is too easy though, hope to see future updates

This is a wonderful game, add battles such as chickamagua. Perryville, Atlanta, Kennesaw Mt., Olustee, that would be great.

Thanks! Definitely will be adding more content!
