Eagle Shelf is a one-time purchase. There is no subscription, and no account to create. When you choose ISBN metadata lookup, Eagle Shelf can fetch edition details from Open Library, and from Google Books when Open Library has no match. Only the ISBN is sent, and there is no account. When you choose copyright-page scanning, the app uses on-device OCR to extract text from the photographed page. If those helpers are unavailable or do not return what you need, you can continue with manual entry. Eagle Shelf is designed for order, retrieval, and an accurate long-term record of a personal library. Whether you are managing a few shelves or a much larger collection, it gives physical books a calmer and more precise system than general reading apps provide.
