Pair with your person, bring the tough conversation, and take turns speaking and listening. Each of you gets a private reflection, plus one shared view. No sides. TalkStik brings an ancient listening technology, the talking stick, to the conversations that matter most. One person holds the stick and speaks. The other listens. Then the stick passes. Never a verdict, just a mirror. A space to speak and be heard. HOW IT WORKS Pair with one person you trust. Both of you confirm consent before every session, no exceptions. Then take turns: one of you holds the stick and speaks, up to two minutes, while the other simply listens. No interrupting, because the app makes interrupting impossible. Pass the stick, and it's their turn. Either of you can end the session at any time. YOUR REFLECTION, AND ONE SHARED VIEW When the session ends, TalkStik reflects back what it heard, in a private reflection for each of you, generated by AI and grounded in well-established communication research. It starts with what you did well: the repair attempts and bids for connection that build trust. It notices patterns: how speaking time was shared, questions asked, listening signals offered. And it closes with two or three small, doable suggestions for next time. Never a winner. Never a verdict. TalkStik doesn't decide who's right, it holds up a mirror. You'll also both see The Field: one shared view of what the conversation held, the same for both of you. No sides. BUILT FOR TOUGH CONVERSATIONS The talk you've been avoiding. The thing that keeps coming up. TalkStik gives structure to the conversations that need it, at 11pm on a Tuesday, right when you need it. It's designed for two people in the same room: couples, co-parents, family members, any two people who want to hear each other better. PRIVACY, BUILT IN Audio recordings are automatically deleted within 24 hours. Your private reflection is yours alone: your partner never sees it, and theirs is never shown to you. The Field is the only part you both see. No ads. No data resale. Ever. A NOTE ON WHAT TALKSTIK IS NOT TalkStik is not a referee, and it does not take sides. It is a structure for taking turns, and a mirror for your own words. SUBSCRIPTIONS TalkStik offers optional auto-renewing subscriptions. Payment is charged to your Apple ID account when you confirm the purchase. Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
