LinkInspector

Strip trackers from links

Free · In‑App Purchases

Someone shared a link with you. Is it clean? See what every URL parameter does, then strip the trackers and keep what the link needs. Is that link clean? Every link you receive can carry hidden tracking: who shared it, which campaign it came from, even a unique ID tied to you. Link Inspector takes the link apart, piece by piece, and tells you in plain language what each part does. Then you decide what stays and what goes. What it does Sorts every parameter into four clear levels: functional, unknown, likely tracker, and confirmed tracker Recognises more than 400 known tracking parameters across UTM tags, click IDs, affiliate networks, social media, and email marketing Unwraps redirect links from Facebook, Google, LinkedIn, Reddit, Outlook SafeLinks, and more than 30 other wrapper services, so you see the real destination Knows host specific trackers for Amazon, eBay, TikTok, the New York Times, Condé Nast, and dozens more Protects the parts a link needs: sign in tokens, gift article links, payment callbacks, and academic access tokens are never touched Removes tracking hidden in the fragment after the hash, like Echobox and idcamp How to use it Share a link from any app with the Share Extension, or paste it straight in See every parameter, coloured by how risky it is Switch individual parameters on or off Copy the clean link, or open it in your browser Link Inspector Plus As an extra bonus, Plus lets you inspect the page behind the link, not just the parameters in it. A single purchase you make once gives you: Domain evaluation with trust signals A full look at the redirect chain TLS certificate, registrar, and DNS analysis It is an optional extra. Your purchase keeps the app free of ads and independent, and helps keep it alive with regular updates and new detection rules. What it does not do Link Inspector focuses on tracking inside the link itself, the parameters in URLs you share and receive. It does not block cookies, fingerprinting, or pixel tracking. Those need a browser extension or a DNS filter. First aid Clicked something that felt off? The built in first aid guide walks you through what to check, from clearing browser data to removing unwanted configuration profiles. Your privacy All parameter inspection happens entirely on your device. No link is ever sent to a server to be analysed. The optional Plus domain check connects straight to the domain you are inspecting to read its certificate, follow redirects, and look up DNS. Those requests go to that domain only, never through us, and nothing from them is stored or shared. No ads. No analytics. We never track you.
