SQLly is a native database workbench for people who live in SQL. One fast, GPU-rendered Mac app for SQL Server and Azure SQL, PostgreSQL, MySQL and MariaDB, SQLite, DuckDB, ClickHouse, Oracle, libSQL/Turso and Redis, plus the services built on them: Aurora, RDS, Cloud SQL, Neon, Supabase, PlanetScale, TiDB, CockroachDB, YugabyteDB, Valkey, KeyDB, DragonflyDB and more. WRITE QUERIES FASTER • IntelliSense that knows your schema: tables, columns, functions, aliases, joins and even the values in a column • Run the whole document or just the selection, and cancel server-side at any time • Command palette, customizable keybindings and a formatter that never changes what your SQL means • Query history, and tabs that remember their own server and database RESULTS THAT WORK FOR YOU • A streaming grid that spills to disk, so millions of rows never eat your memory • Pivot, chart (bar, line, area, scatter, pie, histogram) and format results with a one-line comment directive • Row editor, cell transforms, JSON and XML viewers, quick filters, find and replace • Export to CSV, TSV, JSON, Markdown, HTML, XML, SQL and Excel, or diff two result sets GUARDRAILS FOR PRODUCTION • Organize servers by client, project and environment, and color production an angry red • Lock a connection to SELECT only, wrap writes in a reviewable transaction, require confirmation, or refuse an UPDATE or DELETE with no WHERE • Touch ID identity checks before connecting or before anything but a SELECT • Passwords live in the macOS Keychain, and the app sends no telemetry TOOLS DBAs ACTUALLY USE • Query plans explained in plain language and ranked by impact • Schema compare, data compare, relationship graph, index analyzer, activity monitor and server dashboard • Backup and restore, import and export, data transfer, test data generator and schema documentation • Redis key browser, memory analyzer, profiler and pub/sub viewer NATIVE AND YOURS • Light, dark and high-contrast themes that follow the system • Everything is a plain file on disk: connections, settings and history • Free to use with up to two saved connections; a one-time in-app purchase unlocks unlimited connections

- Native macOS notifications. Notifications for long queries, failed queries and finished exports now show SQLLY's name and icon instead of Script Editor's. The first one asks for notification permission. - English and Spanish. The whole app is translated. Choose the language under Settings → Appearance → Language and it applies immediately. You can also load a custom JSON file to override wording. Error messages and other text coming from the engine are translated too. - Switching language updates the whole app. Tab names, Explorer folders, window titles, the AI Playground provider list and the native menu bar all update, including in every open window. The menu bar now follows the frontmost window. Sessions saved in Spanish restore correctly in English. - Dropdowns work after a language change. Dropdowns now act on the selected entry rather than its translated wording. This fixes options that silently did nothing after switching language, and the PostgreSQL dump format always falling back to Custom in Spanish. - Custom translation files are more forgiving. A file with a few outdated keys still loads its valid entries, and Settings shows what was skipped. If applying a file fails, your previous language is restored. Text lookups are faster. - Tunnel profile fix. Editing a tunnel profile no longer resets its proxy kind or SSH authentication. - Clearer error messages. Doubled prefixes like "Connection error: Connection error:" are gone. - IntelliSense fix. Accepting an alias or column suggestion no longer reopens the completion popup (ifb_4629, ifb_0c92). - The explorer and IntelliSense update after schema changes. Running CREATE, ALTER, DROP or RENAME, including T-SQL's IF … DROP TABLE, now refreshes that server's explorer tree and keeps what you had expanded. It also reloads IntelliSense, so new tables appear and column changes show up right away. This also happens when a batch fails or is cancelled part-way. - SQLite explorer and IntelliSense read the connection's own file. Before, SQLite connections showed empty folders and IntelliSense had no tables, because a stray empty "main" or "master" file was opened instead of your database. That's fixed. SQLite metadata queries are also now protected against TEMP tables named like pragma functions. - Column filter in Edit Structure. The Columns tab can now filter by column name, data type or description. - Hide schemas per connection. Right-click a schema and choose Hide Schema, or use Tools ▸ Hide Schema on an object. Hidden schemas stay hidden after a restart. To bring them back, right-click the database and choose Show Hidden Schemas. - Query Builder is fast on big databases. The table list is virtualized and shows "Loading tables…" while it fills. It now picks up tables that arrive after it opens, and keeps the table you chose with Design Query. That menu item is renamed Open in Query Builder.
