Log Egyptian and Middle Eastern meals by text, voice or photo. Sahnain 2.0 brings clearer meal review and reports, in Arabic and English.
Most calorie apps struggle with Egyptian food: koshari, molokhia, fatta, mahshi, foul, and baladi bread.
Sahnain is built for Egyptian and Arabic meals, so you can log what you actually eat and review the nutrition estimate before saving it.
Photograph a plate of koshari, for example. Sahnain uses AI to estimate the serving, calories, protein, carbs, and fats. Review and edit the result when needed—ingredients, portion size, and preparation all matter.
Review each food, portion and nutrition value before logging. Save a reusable meal shortcut and add its items to your log together, or log without saving a shortcut. Compatible matching repeated items can be combined. Add multiline descriptions to meal photos. Reports show logging coverage, nutrition targets for the selected dates and the foods behind your totals. Estimates, upper limits and unavailable values are distinguished; missing records are not treated as zero intake.
Log meals your way:
• Type in Arabic or English.
• Take a photo or choose one from your library.
• Describe your meal by voice.
• Reuse saved foods and regular intakes.
• Record water throughout the day.
See your day clearly:
• Daily totals for calories, protein, carbs, fats, and water.
• Daily, weekly, and monthly summaries.
• Fast editing for portions and results.
• Meals organized into breakfast, lunch, dinner, and snacks.
• Add activity calories and review net logged calories.
• Shareable backup and easy restore.
You stay in control of your data. Sahnain asks before sending selected text, photos, or voice recordings for AI analysis.
Nutrition results are AI-assisted estimates and may vary with ingredients, portions, and preparation. Review and edit them before saving.
Start with the food you already eat and keep a clearer record of your day.
Sahnain is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Nutrition estimates are for general wellness and personal tracking only.
Ratings & Reviews
This app hasn’t received enough ratings or reviews to display an overview.
Sahnain 2.0 brings a clearer meal review and redesigned reports.
• Review a whole meal before logging: check food names, quantities and nutrition values.
• Two clear choices: save a meal shortcut and add the items to your log, or add them without saving a shortcut.
• Describe several foods using commas, bullet points or separate lines, including in photo descriptions.
• Matching repeated items can be combined when their units and nutrition details agree.
• Estimates, upper limits and unavailable values are clearly marked. Unknown does not mean zero.
• Reports show how much of the period you logged, the foods behind your totals and targets for your selected dates. Days without records count as missing, not zero intake.
• Tidier numbers on the review screen, and better Arabic and large-text layouts.
Nutrition values are estimates for personal tracking, not medical advice.
