Fairways is the journal for golfers who care about where they play, not just how they score. Log every course in your history: the bucket-list rounds, the home muni, the resort weekend, the course you grew up on. Rank them with comparison-based head-to-heads (the way you actually think about courses, not the way Yelp wants you to). Browse what your friends have played. Discover where the world's best courses are, voted by the people who've actually played them.
WHAT MAKES FAIRWAYS DIFFERENT
• Comparison-based ranking. Picking between two courses is something every golfer can do confidently. Rating a course out of 10 isn't. Your numeric rating is derived from your rank, not made up on the spot.
• One entry per course. Played Augusta twice? Update your existing entry. Fairways tracks the course, not the round. Your record gets richer over time, not noisier.
• The Fairways 100. The annual community-ranked list of the world's finest courses, voted by every Fairways member who's played them.
• Built for taste, not scorekeeping. Fairways isn't a handicap tracker, a yardage app, or a swing analyzer. Those exist already. This is the place where the question is where you've played, not how you played.
• Premium, by design. Country-club typography, real course photography, editorial framing. Built to feel like a curated brochure, not a spreadsheet.
PRIVATE OR PUBLIC
Your profile can be public (the default, anyone can follow you and see your rankings) or private (invitation-only, hidden from non-friends). You stay in control.
FOLLOW WHO YOU WANT
The Following feed shows what your golf friends are playing. The Clubhouse feed shows what your fellow members at your home course have been ranking. Two ways to keep track of the people whose taste you care about.
