Remember spending hours sweeping mines on that gray desktop? Minesweeper1990 is a loving, pixel-perfect tribute to the legendary logic game of the 90s — the silver bevels, the red LED counters, the yellow smiley — rebuilt for iPhone, iPad, Mac, Apple TV and Apple Vision Pro.
CLASSIC RULES, EXACTLY AS YOU REMEMBER
- Beginner (9×9, 10 mines), Intermediate (16×16, 40) and Expert (30×16, 99), plus custom boards up to 30×24.
- Your first tap is never a mine.
- Open a blank cell and the whole area cascades open.
- Flag suspected mines, cycle question marks, and "chord" on a number to clear its neighbors at once.
- The LED counter tracks remaining mines (it even goes negative if you over-flag), the timer caps at 999, and the smiley reacts to every move.
