Pink Tide turns today's weather into a short poem you can read in a minute. It lives quietly on your phone, opens once a day, and saves what it found.
WHAT IT DOES
- Tap "Today's tide" — Apple WeatherKit reads the current temperature, condition, precipitation, humidity and wind
- Apple Foundation Models (on-device, iOS 26+) writes an 8-line free-verse poem about today's weather
- Save the tide. Read it once. Then close the app
- A year of saved tides becomes your year book — 365 short weather poems in chronological order
LOCATION IS OPTIONAL
- Pink Tide starts with a default city (Cupertino). If you allow location, the city upgrades to where you actually are
- If you do not allow location, the in-app city picker lets you pick from 44 global cities (London, Paris, Tokyo, Sydney, Cape Town, ...)
- Either way, the poem ships
ON-DEVICE PRIVACY
- The poem is written by Apple Foundation Models on your device. Your location and weather never leave the phone
- No accounts, no analytics, no third-party services
- Apple Weather attribution shown wherever weather data appears

WHY iOS 26 AND APPLE INTELLIGENCE
- The poem is generated locally by Apple Foundation Models, which require iOS 26 and an Apple Intelligence-capable device (iPhone 15 Pro, iPhone 16 / 16 Pro, iPhone 17 / 17 Pro). On older devices, Pink Tide saves the weather snapshot with a brief observational note instead of a poem
- All weather queries use Apple WeatherKit
