Tell us what you think — right from the app. • After a win, Fingerpost may ask how you're getting on. Say yes and you can rate it; say not really and you get a feedback sheet instead. • Feedback goes straight to the two people who make the game — pick what's getting in the way, add a note if you like. • We read every one.

Bug fix — thanks to everyone who wrote in. • The search bar stays put. After a few guesses the guess list could push the search bar off the bottom of the screen with no way to scroll down to it. The board now scrolls and the search bar, Guess button and List/Hint/Skip row stay where you need them. • Fixed on every iPhone size, with the keyboard open or closed.

See how you stack up against the world! • Daily Arena — finish the Daily and see your global percentile and how everyone else did • New share grid — a spoiler-free way to brag about today's round • Hints are now a wallet — start with 5, earn one back with every Daily, or watch an ad when you run dry • Streak guard — an optional reminder before a 3+ day streak breaks • Challenge links show a rich preview, and shared results link to a live daily stats page

A fresh new name, icon and look — welcome to Fingerpost! • Wrong guesses now appear as red signs pointing exactly where you landed. • Top-down map redrawn at true compass bearings for fair, readable angles. • Gentler difficulty and streak shields — one slip won't end your run. • Country mode: choose your region (Europe, Asia, Africa and more). • Hints now appear only when you tap Hint. • Clearer stats with a new skill meter.

• Hints everywhere — the Hint button now reveals an extra clue on every difficulty, including the easiest levels. • Fixed a bug where the in-game city list could reveal the answer. • Difficulty is now shown as simple levels (1–5). • Country mode is worldwide — every country is in play, with clue arrows fanning out in all directions. • Tap any place in the in-game list to drop it straight into your guess. • Redesigned results screen, plus a running session score in endless Practice. • Easier rounds now favour cities near you, and a back button keeps you from getting stuck mid-game.
