Map Path: Open in Apple Maps

Map links open in Apple Maps

$0.99

Tap a Google, Waze, Bing, or HERE link and it opens in Apple Maps. New: the address finder lists addresses on any page. On-device — no tracking, no data collection. Map Path quietly rewrites map links so they open in Apple Maps. When a web page links to Google Maps, Waze, Bing Maps, or HERE WeGo — or uses a geo: link — Map Path changes that link so a tap opens the place, address, or coordinates in Apple Maps instead. No copy-paste, no app-switch dance. It runs entirely on your device. No network requests, no tracking, no analytics, no data collection. WHAT IT DOES • NEW — The address finder: open the Map Path popup on any page and it lists the addresses it finds; tap one to open it in Apple Maps • Rewrites links from Google Maps, Waze, Bing Maps, HERE WeGo, and geo: URIs to Apple Maps • Works on Google search results — address links in the map pack and knowledge panel open in Apple Maps • Carries the place, address, coordinates, and zoom level straight over • Keeps working as pages update — search results, single-page apps, and links that sites build at click-time included WHAT IT DOESN'T DO • Doesn't follow or unwrap shortened links (goo.gl, maps.app.goo.gl) — that needs a network request, and Map Path makes none • Doesn't redirect pages you're already on — it only rewrites links before you tap them • Doesn't change your browser's default or touch any app other than Safari PRIVACY Everything happens locally in Safari. Map Path needs access to the pages you visit only so it can find and rewrite map links — nothing leaves your device. The address finder reads the page's text only when you open the popup — checked on your device, never stored or sent. No accounts, no servers, no third parties. The source is open for inspection. SETUP After installing, enable Map Path in Safari's Extensions settings and allow it on all websites. The app walks you through it. By CodeCrafted Apps.

The address finder! Tap the Map Path button in Safari and it lists the potential addresses on the page you're reading — tap one to open it in Apple Maps. Found entirely on your device, only when you open the popup, never stored or sent. Also in 1.2: • Google search results now work — address links in the map pack and knowledge panel open in Apple Maps • Links that sites build at click-time (hotel chains, click-tracking) are caught right before navigation • HERE route shares become real directions; zoom levels and geo: labels carry over • Crisper toolbar icon, a refreshed app icon, Home Screen quick actions
