New for hosts: a quick intro Signing up to host now shows how Next Four runs your night: the queue on the board, players picking their own games, and Smart pick. A 30-second tour is also offered before your first live session. Smoother live sessions Live sessions are faster and more reliable. Matches start as courts fill, Fill Court fills an empty court in one tap, and the board announces each new match as it's made. A player can only be checked in to one session at a time, and hosts can run several sessions at once. Fairer skill-based picking A new Similar levels goal, fewer rematches, more even teams, a better balance of men and women, and nobody is skipped all night. Guests keep their history Guests can claim their matches into an account from a QR code or a link the host sends, even if they install the app first. New: Session Board Turn a tablet into the live screen for your session. On a landscape tablet the courts, queue and pool sit side by side, with the picker shown in the header. New: Check in with a code Players check in with the code on the board or the host's phone, so only people in the hall can be picked for a match. New: Quicker scoring Tap the winning side, then set the other side's score. You can change a result without leaving the session. Easier one-off sessions The create form asks for the essentials first, venues are searched full screen, and you can cap how many players are checked in at once. A one-off session's menu opens its results. Also • Sessions start automatically by default, with Start now to begin early • Queue and Pool show their counts • Session cards no longer say Free or No players yet • Tablets in portrait use the phone layout • A long description no longer buries the rest of the page

Once approved you manage the club and host its sessions, so you can take it over without setting everything up again. New: Junior sessions Clubs can mark a session as a junior session. Junior sessions stay out of the Discover feed, so a session run for under-18s is never listed publicly - while still showing on your club's page for parents looking for a junior section. New: More clubs to discover We've started listing clubs from public sources, so there's more to find in Discover even before your club has joined. Clubs and sessions waiting for an owner are marked, and you can report anything that looks wrong. Improvements • Report a club, the same way you can already report a session. • The app no longer asks for access to your photos - picking a photo now uses the system picker instead. • Smaller download and a faster start. • Tidier details on clubs and sessions added from public listings - cleaner descriptions, and locations that lead with the venue name. • A more consistent look across club and session pages. Fixes • Fixed changing a player's grade, which could fail to save. Grade changes are now kept as a history, so you can see how a player has progressed. • Fixed a crash when signing out and into a different account. • Fixed the Home screen briefly flashing before the sign-in screen on startup. • Fixed layout problems on club and session pages, including when the on-screen keyboard was open.

New: Club Members Club pages now show who's in the club. See a preview of members right on the club page, tap through for the full list, and tap anyone to view their profile. Improvements • Cleaner, more consistent player lists across participants, player search and friends. • Club pages remember their members, so coming back to one loads instantly. • General visual polish and stability improvements.

New: Smart Pick When it's your turn to pick, tap Smart Pick to instantly build a fair, skill-balanced match - teams sorted for you in a moment. You can still adjust the selection or pick by hand before confirming. Improvements • After you pick, the courts view now jumps straight to your assigned court. • If every court is busy, you'll get a clear heads-up that your group has joined the pool. • The picking sheet is tidier - tap outside to close it, and it no longer pops open over what you were doing. • Handing host over to another player now asks you to confirm, so it can't happen by accident. Fixes • Fixed sessions occasionally not ending, and the on-court picker timer not resetting when a session finished. • General polish and stability improvements.

• Fixed a crash that could occur when signing in or switching accounts. • Fixed a freeze that could occur after ending a live session. • Fixed an ad that could briefly appear right after signing in. • Live sessions: Courts, Queue and History now live in a bottom bar, so they're easier to reach one-handed during play. • Live sessions: the current picker now updates instantly after each pick, and the picker bar has a refreshed, collapsible design. • Minor visual polish and stability improvements.

• Refreshed player profiles with a larger photo and cleaner layout • Accept, decline, or cancel friend requests straight from a profile • Updated friend icons for a clearer status at a glance • Improved filter sheets on the Players and Discover screens • Various polish and bug fixes
