Importing a permit now tells you what is happening. Sharing a permit into the app used to show a blank spinner for up to two minutes with no way out. You now get a screen that names each step as it runs, shows a time estimate based on how long real builds actually take, and can be left to finish in the background while you use the rest of the app. The elapsed timer no longer resets partway through or sticks at 0:00. A permit still waiting on its route now explains where it is and offers a Try again button, instead of a blank map. Also: large permits no longer time out during import, and several routes that ran alongside a state line or turned onto a lettered spur route now build correctly.

Routes you can trust, and a way to reach us. We now hold back any route our servers could not fully confirm against your permit instead of offering it for navigation. A held route shows a "verifying" notice and marks the stretches we could not confirm, so you always know which miles to check against the printed permit. If we can't build a route for a permit at all, the app now tells you why and puts you one tap from our support team, with your permit details already attached.

Stability release. Fixed a crash when opening a permit PDF, and a case where the app could sit waiting forever on a permit that never loaded. Fixed a crash during navigation. Losing location while driving no longer closes the app. Your route and instructions stay on screen, and your position picks up again as soon as GPS recovers. Fixed a crash when a permit was shared into the app from another app, and one when using the back gesture after an unrecognized link.

Clearer map. Roads and highways now stand out from your route line, so you can check the route against your permit at a glance. Tap the map on a permit to open it full screen, then zoom in and pan to inspect the roads. Buttons for zoom and fit-to-route are there too. Permit conditions are back on the permit screen, read straight from your document. Route fixes for permits whose printed directions are out of order, and for local roads and unnamed steps that were being skipped.
