Group sessions: the group sessions your shelter schedules now show on your phone. • Calendar lists sessions running now or set for today or later, marked Group session. The ones you're on are marked You're on it. • Home shows your own sessions on their day, with the time, place and animals. • Open a session to see its time, place, animals and status. If you're on it, or you're staff or an admin, you also see who's on it and their roles. • Staff and admins can run a session from the phone: tap Start session, confirm once that you're cleared for any animal that needs a cleared handler, then tap End session and record how each animal did. Sessions appear once your shelter schedules them. Also fixed: for fosters, Log a past session now refuses an activity that's no longer offered for that animal and asks you to refresh the list and pick another.

Drop-offs: log enrichment you leave in a kennel, like a frozen treat or a toy, without running a timer. • One animal: in Start activity, choose a drop-off and tap Log drop-off. It's recorded straight away, with no timer and no survey. • A whole row: on Home, tap "Log a drop-off for a row". Choose the activity and a kennel row, or a whole species such as all dogs. Untick any animal you skipped, then confirm. You'll see which animals were logged, and why any were skipped. Drop-offs appear once your shelter marks an activity as a drop-off.

New • A running activity now shows in a bar just above the tabs, with the activity, the animal and how long it has run. Tap it to go back to its timer. If more than one is running, tap to see them all. • Fosters can pause and resume an activity's timer, the same way volunteers can. Paused time isn't counted. • If you leave a form you've started, the app asks "Discard your changes?" first. This covers surveys, observations, Log a past session, Start activity, Send feedback, Delete your data and Change password. Fixes • Cancel on the "Before you start" sheet now just closes it. Before, it could start the activity. • On a slow connection, End Activity and Change password no longer show an error when they actually went through. • A password reset link for an account that was never set up can now be finished. The screen asks for your date of birth when it's needed. • Signing out while the app checks your phone's approval always takes you to the sign-in screen. • The app keeps your phone's approval status up to date as you move around, not only when you sign in. • With VoiceOver, the Start activity list no longer jumps back to the chosen activity while you move through it. Easier to read • Buttons and links are a darker blue, and grey labels and selected-filter icons have more contrast. • Button labels and headings now use the app's own typeface, at its proper weights.

A big update since the last release. Running an activity • Before the timer starts, you see your shelter's handling steps for the activity and the animal. For a restricted animal, the app asks you to confirm first. • Your shelter's guidance for an activity shows when you choose it. • When an activity takes an animal out, the app asks where it's going, with a grouped, searchable list of places. • Pause an activity. Paused time isn't counted. • Started one by mistake? End it as "This activity didn't happen". • Finishing an activity asks one set of questions, not two, and every survey it asks for comes up in turn. Choosing an activity • You only see activities that fit the animal: no cat activities for a dog, and none your shelter has turned off. • Long activity lists open to their categories. Around the app • After scanning a kennel card, View details opens the animal's record. • An animal nobody has rated for handling shows "Not yet assigned". • Send feedback from Profile, or while your phone waits for approval. • The header shows your shelter's name, and the activity timer shows the animal's photo. • The app shows its version on the sign-in, waiting and Profile screens. Fixes • Held sideways, screens keep clear of the notch and Dynamic Island. • Screens fit and scroll at large text sizes. • Colored status words are easier to read. • Error messages say what actually went wrong, instead of always blaming your connection. • On a slow or guest Wi-Fi network, the app stops waiting after 20 seconds instead of getting stuck. • An approved phone opens on Home after a restart.
