SHIBAN is the guitar fretboard reference designed for the way the fretboard actually is — wide.
Designed for landscape viewing, SHIBAN shows the entire fretboard in one wide panoramic display — letting you see every position of a pentatonic scale at a glance.
— Features —
• Two essential scales: Minor Pentatonic and Major Pentatonic
• All 12 keys, switchable with one tap
• 5 positions per scale, individually toggleable
• "HOW TO READ" guide explains how positions connect
• Vintage premium design — paper texture, brass accents, classic serif typography
• Fully offline. No account required.
— Why SHIBAN —
Most fretboard apps cram everything into a portrait phone screen. SHIBAN was built around the realization that the fretboard is wide — so the app is too. The landscape-only layout gives every fret room to breathe and every position a clear shape.
Whether you're learning your first scale, drilling positions, or sketching out an improvisation, SHIBAN is the reference you keep open on your stand.
— More scales coming —
Starting with the two scales every guitarist uses first. Major and Minor Pentatonic are the foundation of blues, rock, country, and countless other genres. More scales — the major scale (Ionian), blues scale, and more — are on the roadmap.
— Privacy —
SHIBAN does not collect any personal information. The app displays banner ads served by Google AdMob, which may use anonymous identifiers in accordance with your tracking preferences.
