Throughline is free for everyone — every feature, no exceptions. If it helps you and you can, you can chip in from the You tab; contributing unlocks nothing. Also new: • Dark mode, plus a set of themes to paint the app your way. Tap the two-dot circle at the top. • A faster start. You're talking within the first minute, and your calendar is set up in one tap. • Threads that have been waiting a while can suggest a first step, so a big task stops being stuck. • A de-identified copy of what you capture now helps improve Throughline. You can turn it off any time in the You tab.

• Throughline Pro is here. The core stays free — capture, your board, closing loops, reminders, your calendar, lists, intentions, the morning email and the last 30 days of Looking Back. Pro adds full Rewind detail, all-time history, and the weekly and monthly recap emails. • Everyone who was already here keeps every feature free, forever. • Put appointments on your calendar: say when something is, and Throughline can add it to the calendar you already use. Turn it on in You → Calendar. • Repeating threads: set a chore or routine to repeat, and it comes back on its own schedule — including on the Coming up list, where the repeat marker now stays put.

• Captures are more patient on slow connections — cloud structuring now waits up to 90 seconds and always falls back gracefully. • The capture screen now says "Unwinding…" while it works. • Privacy hardening under the hood: every intake path is pinned to the de-identification seam, with a build-failing tripwire keeping it that way. • Reliability: an empty AI reply now falls back cleanly, and refused uploads stop retrying.

A privacy fix, and clearer words. • Choosing "Keep everything on-device" — or turning Smart capture (cloud) off — now also stops de-identified copies of your captures from being sent to us. It should have all along; now it does. • The consent screen and the You tab say exactly what your phone strips before anything reaches the AI, and what we keep.

The Threads board is easier to live with when it gets big. • Select several threads at once and move them to a project, or change their kind or priority together • Sub-projects fold away with their parent, so a crowded board collapses to an overview • The board remembers whether you left it on Kind, Priority or Project • Long typed unwinds no longer lose threads off the end

A gentler start. Your first unwind is now guided, so your very first capture makes sense before you are on your own — and the rest of the app introduces itself as you go, instead of everything arriving at once. Rewind is here: look back on your weeks and months — the loops you closed, your unwind rhythm, your share of mind. Find it on Today, up top. Always calm, never a guilt pile. Gentle reminders, fully yours to control: say "remind me 15 minutes before" while you capture and it is set. Appointments remind you automatically, always gently — nothing ever rings loud unless you make that one reminder loud yourself. This one's big: Throughline builds lists now. Say "start a grocery list — eggs, coffee, the good bread" and it's on your board, ready to tick off. Add to it by voice anytime. Appointments tidy up after themselves — once one lands on your calendar, it tucks into Coming up instead of sitting on the board. Home-screen widgets got more reliable, and the board is easier to scan — every kind has its own icon and color now. Also: smarter splitting when you say several things at once, a quick Rename, and a bunch of small fixes.
