If a scan can't find your speaker, the app now tells you as soon as it has finished checking your Wi-Fi, and offers Add device right there. Previously the progress bar sat at 100% while it quietly kept searching other networks, with nothing on screen to tap. Pull to refresh now runs the scan to completion. On slower or busier networks it could stop early, so a speaker that was present sometimes didn't appear until you reopened the app. Plus a small wording fix in the X-Sense measurement summary.

Speakers no longer rejoin groups on their own. Automatic group restoring is now off by default and can be switched on per system. If you had speakers regrouping themselves after you separated them, that stops with this update. DISCOVERY Your speakers are now found on networks the app previously missed — larger installs where speakers sit on a different subnet from your phone, and networks using wider address ranges. Discovery is also faster where your network supports it. GROUPING Fixed several cases where a speaker you removed from a group could quietly rejoin it. Automatic restoring is marked Beta while we test it further; grouping speakers by hand is unchanged. X-SENSE ROOM CALIBRATION No longer over-corrects bass. The measurement tone now plays continuously through the whole walk, and the app is honest about what an iPhone microphone can and cannot hear — frequencies below its usable range follow your chosen target curve instead of being corrected from unreliable data. You can now load a calibration file for a USB measurement microphone (UMIK-1, iMM-6 and REW formats), so X-Sense measures against your microphone's real response. CONTROLS Volume, seek and EQ sliders now track your finger precisely, including after scrolling. The EQ curve draws its full range to 20 kHz. Larger touch targets throughout. ALSO A clearer firmware update screen that tells you what actually matters — keep the speaker powered on; the update finishes whether or not you leave the app.

XSCACE Controller now runs on iPad. A proper full-screen iPad app, not a stretched phone layout — it rotates freely, and Settings and EQ use the extra width with two-column layouts. On iPhone, everything stays exactly where you expect it. USB Library Browse and play music straight from a USB drive connected to your Air Mini or Air Amp. Find it in Settings › Sound › USB Library. Large drives are handled smoothly, and the app offers to switch your input to USB when it isn't already. Track progress and seek The now-playing card shows real elapsed and remaining time, and you can drag anywhere in the track to seek. Playback started from AirPlay, another phone, or the unit's own buttons stays in sync. Static IP For fixed and custom installs, pin a speaker to a permanent address over Wi-Fi, Ethernet or both, so a router re-lease can never move it out from under your system. Addresses are validated before they're applied, and anything that would strand a device is blocked outright. X-Sense room calibration X-Sense is now explicit about what your microphone can and cannot hear, and it no longer invents bass correction from frequencies an iPhone's built-in mic cannot measure honestly. Connect a USB measurement microphone to correct the full range — and load its calibration file so X-Sense measures against your mic's real response rather than assuming it's perfect. UMIK-1, iMM-6 and REW-format files are supported. Fixes and refinements Volume, seek and EQ sliders now track your finger precisely, including after scrolling. The EQ curve is drawn fully to 20 kHz. Larger, easier touch targets throughout, and a firmware-update screen that tells you what actually matters — keep the speaker powered on; the update finishes whether or not the app stays open.

Setting up a speaker is now effortless. Open Add Device and your Air Mini appears on its own — just tap it, confirm your Wi-Fi, and it's connected. No more joining a temporary hotspot and hopping between Settings. The old method is still there under "Device not visible?" if you ever need it. X-Sense room calibration is significantly more accurate. Corrections were being applied at roughly double their intended strength, which made calibrated sound overcooked. That's fixed — X-Sense now delivers exactly the correction it measures. It also tells you the frequency range it can honestly correct with your phone's microphone, and extends that range automatically if you connect an external mic. A new room view. After a room scan you get a proper dimensional drawing of your space — walls, measurements, floor area and the acoustic modes your room produces. Firmware updates you can actually find. Speakers with an update available now show a badge right on the device card. Updates show real progress, and you can check for one at any time. Plus a great deal of polish. Renaming a speaker no longer closes before you finish typing. The app stops jumping back to the device list while you're setting up. Saving an EQ preset works properly. Grouped speakers remember their groups reliably. Volume sliders stay smooth, and speakers that briefly drop off Wi-Fi recover on their own.

This update fixes an issue that could prevent the app from opening. Thank you for your patience — and welcome to our biggest update yet: • All-new automatic setup — connect a new Air Mini in under a minute, with instant feedback if the Wi-Fi password was mistyped • Permanent multiroom groups — your speaker groups now restore themselves after power cuts, even overnight • Name each speaker during setup, and set up multiple devices in one flow • Redesigned parametric EQ with a studio-accurate response curve • EQ presets are now stored on the speaker itself — they survive reinstalls and phone changes • X-Sense AI room calibration — pick your AirPlay output right in the app, with more accurate, more musical corrections • New per-device volume limit • Faster everything — your speakers appear about a second after launch • Source switching fixed for AUX, USB, HDMI ARC and Optical inputs • Many stability and reliability improvements
