Setting up Qiraa is easier and friendlier: • Nuri, your teacher, guides every step of setup in his own voice. • Find your place: tell Qiraa what you know, or take Test me. Its button says how long it takes. • Test me shows how it works before it starts, and Nuri helps when you get stuck with a peek or a skip. • Choose your favourite reciter while you set up. • Skip any question. You can change your plan any time. • 32 reciters with their Arabic names and portraits, and 58 translations in 53 languages.

This update adds optional ad measurement for adult learners on iPhone and iPad, with a clear Apple tracking-permission choice. You can keep using Qiraa if you decline. Privacy information and controls have been updated.

A new Home that learns with you • Your plan, your next sitting and your sūrahs, all on one calm Home. • Welcome stories show what you have going, right on its real page. • Search opens quietly, without the keyboard popping up. The Halaqah, rebuilt • A new Halaqah tab: choose the portion, your Sheikh and your circle, step by step, then begin. • Choosing a portion is easier: pick a sūrah, then roll to the first and last āyah. • Someone can now watch your Halaqah live from their own phone. • During the sitting, the rail shows whose turn it is and how each person is doing, and a closing shows who held what. The Studio, redesigned • One clear dock for memorising, Test me, the Halaqah and the Tajwīd and Book lessons. • The card you hold stays in hand, help tells you what helped, and each āyah ends with your result. • New tools: a timer (also on your Lock Screen), Repeat, Look-alikes. • On iPad the card comes first. Nuri, your teacher • Nuri now speaks in the Studio with a real voice, in English and Arabic. • Choose how she teaches you: talk me through it, guide me, only when I'm stuck, or read without voice. You can also switch her off in the sitting's settings. Also new • Qiraa iQ starts with "I'll tell you", and every check shows how much is left. • Sūrah names are written with their proper marks (Al-Ikhlāṣ, An-Nās), and search still finds them typed plainly. • iPad: the player no longer stays over the Halaqah. • Many smaller fixes and polish throughout.

Critical bug fixes

Hello App Review, Thank you for the report on Qiraa 1.0.2 (14). We found the cause and fixed it in build 1.0.2 (17). WHAT HAPPENED The review iPad's sandbox Apple ID still held an unfinished StoreKit transaction for the same subscription, left over from an earlier purchase. Our in-app purchase library does not open the payment sheet for a product that still has an unfinished transaction, and build 14 had no way to clear it. Instead of the sheet, the app showed "Finishing the existing App Store purchase…" and stopped there. WHAT WE CHANGED IN 1.0.2 (17) - Before asking for the payment sheet, the app now checks the product's unfinished transactions with our server and finishes them, so the App Store payment sheet opens every time. - Restore Purchases finishes unfinished transactions as well. - A sandbox purchase is accepted on whichever Qiraa account you are signed in to (the demo account or Sign in with Apple). - If a purchase can't be confirmed right away, the app says so plainly and confirms it automatically later.
