Harmonal Binaurics 2 is the newest version of our popular binaural drone instrument - finally for iPad! It combines Binaural Beats with Isochronic Tones and custom tuning systems to hijack your brainwaves and bend your unconscious mind. It’s a psychoacoustic powerhouse – originally designed as simple tool for live performance, Harmonal Binaurics has evolved into a deeply flexible instrument for composition, performance, meditation, sound experimentation, and sonic exploration.
At the core of the instrument are seven binaural/isochronic generators capable of producing dense drones, pulsing rhythmic interference patterns, shifting harmonic relationships, and unstable psychoacoustic textures. Version 2 dramatically expands the original instrument with complete control over the tuning of all seven generators, allowing for custom scales, microtonal systems, and entirely non-standard harmonic structures.
Newly expanded wave shaping and wavemorphing capabilities make it possible to morph seamlessly from pure sine-wave entrainment tones into triangle, sawtooth, and square waveforms – and then even further into aggressive distortions, unstable hybrid waveforms, and continuously evolving textures.

The desktop and iPad versions each offer slightly different workflows and interfaces, with the iPad version specifically redesigned for tactile control, live manipulation, and performability.

Fixed state saving in DAWs, preset management, fundamental FREQ knob resolution increased, individual channel strip frequency can now be set by clicking/typing or taping and draggin (like a knob), user assignable gradient backgrounds, new binaural and isochronic beat indicators, plus a few other minor things.
